The developers of PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, PUBG Corp. have announced that "Fix PUBG" is over, but has also promised more fixes.

The gaming house 💛released a on Friday, confirming that the campaign to improve the game has run its course - for n🅘ow, at least.

According to PUBG's executive producer Taesok Jang, the ho😼use's developers will continue to focus on stability and gameplay quality, admittꦜing that the company had previously overlooked certain aspects in their haste to get content out.

"Since the start of the FIX PUBG campaign, the dev team at PUBG has prioritized tasks around improving core performance of the game while fixing longstanding bugs," Ja𒁏ng wrote.

"To accomplish these tasks within our allotted time frame, all available dev resources were assigned to the campaign. However, due to several new stability issues that arose apart from FIX PUBG,෴ we wanted to hold off on completing the campaign these last few weeks whil🧸e we worked on resolving those issues.

"We understand that timely communication with you is important and will always look for ways we can improve. I apologize to the players on behalf of the Dev team for the postponement until now, but while we’re a little late from the posted FIX PUBG schedule, we still feel it’s important to share the results of thiꦫs campaign."

In relation to the actual improvements, he said: "By optimizing game effects, we have reduced the load caused when multiple effects are activated at the same time. We have also begun optimizing frame rate drop issues on specific effects such as smoke. Environmental effects, vehicle destruction effects, hit effects and smoke effe🀅cts have been improved and we are planning to add improvements on weapon-related logic an🌌d effects as well."

The Fix PUBG campaign began in August on the back of rife fan-feedback developers picked up on earlier in the year. The phrase was also borne out of frustration from users, who were quite 🥀vocal over their disappointment with the game on several levels.

In response, the team set out to improve matchmaking in an attempt to erase the possibility of desynchr🍃onized kills. PUBG Corp. also focused on correcting jarring and random frame rate drops, as well as making the game smoother.

They have promised that this won't be the end where fixes are concerned. And, w🤪hile the game still🐎 can't be considered perfect, it should give players a better feel and a multitude of improvements.
