What The Different Smelting Techniques Do
Once you select a challenge from the list, a fireworks-crafting interface will appear. The overall goal is to get every parameter’s progress bar into the ideal (orange) zone with the limited amount of endurance you have. This is done via Smelting Techniques, wꦜhich can be selected via a button on the right side of the screen. Each Smelting Technique has different properties that will increase the parameters’ progress bars in unique ways:
- Tactile Sensitivity: Increases the parameter slightly.
- Nitpicker: Increases the parameter moderately.
- Decisive Boldness: Increases the parameter greatly.
- Meticulousness: Increases the chosen parameter moderately or greatly. Also increases the two adjacent parameters slightly or moderately.
- Flexible Response: Increases the parameter slightly 3-6 times (this amount is random, not adaptive).
- Raging Fire: Increases smelting Firepower moderately.
- Low-Temperature Processing: Decreases smelting Firepower moderately.
- Let Fortune Lead: Increases the parameter slightly, with a higher chance of Curious Efficacy occurring.
Note that different Smelting Techniques consume different amounts of Endurance. When your Endurance is too low you will not be able to smelt anymore, so think about what combinations of Smelting Techniques will allow you to satisfy all the progress bars most efficiently. Occasionally, a Curious Efficacy will occur when you smelt; this will immediately raise that parameter to the ideal 🅷zone.
How To Change The Flame
The top-right corner of the screen will display Low Flame, Medium Flame, or Strong Flame while you are smelting. This is your current Firepower.
Firepower acts as a modifier for the effects of your Smelting Techniques. When your Firepower is at Low Flame, your Smelting Techniques will gain no bonus. At Medium Flame the🉐y will gain a moderate bonus, and at Strong Flame they will gain a high bonus.
Firepower will go down every time you smelt. However, the Raging Fire and Low-Temperature Processing Smelting Techniques let you manually raise or lower the Firepower, respectively. As a result, you can use Firepower as an extra tool to fine-tune your Smelting Techniques and ensure tha🉐t they increase the progress bars by the desired amount.
How To Complete Smelting
Once all parameters’ progress bars are in the ideal zone (or you are satisfied with your current Quality Rating), you may select “Complete Smelting” to end the current challenge. At this point, you’ll be given a final Quality Rating based on how close each of your parameters was to 🌟its ideal zone.
How To Set Off Fireworks
It would be pretty tragic if players couldn’t set off their fireworks after painstakingly constructing them. Thankfully, this isn’t the case! You’ll be able to customize your fireworks to y🍎our liking and plan your very own fireworks spectacular.
Customizing fireworks can be done on a separate page after choosing “Smelt Firework” on your Launch Tube. There you can adjust tဣhe Color, Size, Height, and Spread of your fireworks without wꦓorrying about ideal parameters or anything.
After customizing your fireworks you can design your own showcase for them. Simply choose “Get Ready to Launch” on your Launch Tube and you will be shown a Launch Setup page🎃. Three unique plans can be created at once, and players can customize everything from the specific firework types to the delay between ಌtheir launches.
Fireworks used here are NOT consumed, so don’t worry about running out. The Launch Tube Gadget also will NOT expire at the end of this event, meaning players can host their own firewo🅰rks displays as long as th꧅ey’d like.
Rewards For Creating Fireplume Starflowers
Finishing the crafting challenges with high enough Quality Ratings will grant players a variety of rewards, including Primogems, Mora, Hero’s Wit, Mystic Enhancement Ore, Affluence Talismans, and Fireworks. Perfect Q𓆏uality Ratings are not needed to unlock everything, but players will still need to score pretty highly in order to get the top bracket of prizes.
The Fireworks unlocked through these challenges can be customized and implemented into fireworks shows via your Launch 🃏Tube Gadget. Again, these are NOT consumable and can be used freely.
The Affluence Talismans awarded by this event can be spent in the Afterglow Market Stage 1 section of the Event Shop to purchase additional Fireworks for customization and launching. This currency can also be used to buy Ascension Shards and Hero’s Wit, as well as contribute to the Prosperous Partnerships Invitation (which gives players a free Liyue four-star character) and The Moon’s Comely Brow (which gives players Ningguang’s new outfit, Orchid’s Evening Gown).
