The Florida Mayhem announced a trade with the Los Angeles♒ Gladiators for DPS player Josh "Sideshow" Wilkinson over the weekend. This announcement comes after Sideshow and Gladiators coach David "dpei" Pei hosted a charity stream for NAACP and the 🐟$8,000 milestone was a trade from Florida to Los Angeles.

Though his time with Florida was short lived, Sideshow made an immediate impact on the team, particularly with their social media presence and we are all certain he will be greatly missed iꦍn the organization.

It still seems unreal Sideshow was a player within꧂ the Florida Mayhem organization. Though it was only a 14-day contr🍰act and he didn't even make it the full 14 days, it was a sight to behold. He is in good hands with the Gladiators, though, as he joins them on another 14-day roster. Is this the start of the great Sideshow journey across all the teams in the Overwatch League?

Dpei and Sideshow's charity stream did massive work during a time when the nation is in turmoil. The two of them used 🌠a series of donation milestones to raise over $17,000 for NCAAP and Campaign Zero which is an initiative to combat police brutality. Some milestones included Dpei shaving his head and eyebrows. After reaching their goal, they made some additional bonus milestones which resulted in Sideshow going bald. Good stuff all around, honestly.

All this 𓃲is good fun and for a good cause. It all began as sort of a joke from Sideshow when he challenged Florida Mayhem's Yaki to a Pharah 1v1 but sort of evolved into an Overwatch League phenomenon while the league was on a break following the May Melee. Sideshow helped provide some of the funniest content in all of 2020 and helped support the cause. What a time for the man himself.
