Forever Entertainment, a Kraków-based game development studio founded in 2010, has reportedly signed an agreement with 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Square Enix to develop and release several game remakes ba🍎sed on titles owned by the Japanese conglomerate, the company said in a stat🅺ement.
The name of the remakes have not yet been revealed, though it is one of Square Enix’s previously releasܫed games. Although the graphic design of the game is expected to be updated, the gameplay and storyline will adhere to thꦡe original version.
For its participation in the project, Forever Entertainment will receive over 50% of the game revenue generated across all platforms. Meanwhile, the company will cover the development costs. In recent years, Forever is known for developing Frederic: Evil Strikes Back, Merchanꦍts of Aidan, Sparkle 3 Genesis, Violett: Remastered Edition, Zombilli, Sparkle Zero, Fr3deric and Sparkle 4 Tales.
In 2019, Forever began developing remakes of several 1990s cult games. The first, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Panzer Dragoon: Remake, a remaster of Sega's 1995 rail shooter Panzer Dragoon, was released in 2020. The studio is also set to produce and publisher upcoming remakes of Sega's The House of the Dead and The House of the Dead 2, under the titles The House of the🦹 Dead: Remake and The House of the Dead 2: Re𝓡make.
Meanwhile,♛ Square Enix, a Japanese video game holding company, is best known for its Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest, and Kingdom Hearts RPG series. Several of the Square Enix franchises have sold over 10 million copies worldwide, wiꦇth the Final Fantasy franchise selling 144 million, the Dragon Quest franchise selling 78 million and the Kingdom Hearts franchise selling 30 million.
The company, wh🎀ich is headquartered in the Shinjuku Eastside Square Building in Shinjuku, Tokyo, has over 5000 employees worldwide through its base operations and subsidiaries. The original Square Enix Co., Ltd. was formed in April 2003 following the merger between Square and Enix, with the latter as the surviving company.
In 2009, Square Enix announced the acquisition of Eidos Interactive, the UK-based publisher of the Tomb Raider, Hitman, Deus Ex, Thief and Legacy of Kain franch🤡ises. As for which franchise Forever will remake, we’ll just have to wait for further information.
