The company has appointed gaming industry veteran Jade Raymond as a vice president, with the former Ubisoft and Electronic Arts producer making the via her Twitter account on Tuesday evening. She did not say♛ what her exact role will be, however.

"I’m excited to finally be able to share that I have joined Google as VP!" she twee🌞ted.

Raymond started off in the gaming industry as a programmer for Sony before moving to EA as a correspondent for The Electronic Playground. She would later take up a post at Ubisoft Montreal, where she would help produce 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Assassin's Creed, going on to serve as the executive producer for Assassin's Creed 2, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Watch Dogs and Tom Clancy's 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Splinter Cell: Blacklist.

She also helped open 🔴the Ubisoft Toronto Studio, serving as its managing director and helping with expansion. Raymond founded the Montreal-based Motive Studios after rejoining EA in 2015 but left the company again last year⛦. She was handed the Legend Award at the 8th Annual New York Game Awards back in January.

The 43-year-old Canadian talent will no doubt help give Google that gaming industry push💞 it's looking for. And the n🌄ews of her appointment comes just before it will host a keynote at this month's Game Developers Conference.
