B.R.U.T.E mechs, a feature introduced to a൩s part of its 10.00 patch, are finally getting some adjustments that will hopefully make them less annoying to their outspoken critics.
The mechs, which were seemingly inspired by the Titanfall Titans that were notably absent from Respawn's Apex Legends, have been a source of frustration for many in the Fortnite community since their introduction. Their speed, firepower, and ability to let players pick up materials from anything they destroy left other players at a major disadvantage,168澳洲幸运5开奖网: if not entirely hopeless.
Outcry against the new vehicle ended up earlier this month, in which they explained that the entire purpose of the B.R.U.T.E. was to let less-skilled players have a chance at winning, along with pro🧔viding more spectacle to the game. They also noted that despite the complaints, B.R.U.T.E.s only kill four people per Solo game on average, and only six players per Duo, Squad, and Team Rumble game.
The average kills in Arena Solos and Arena T꧃rios is even lower, hovering around one kill per game for each.
So the B.R🎃.U.T.E., for the time being, is here to stay. But B.R.U.T.E. naysayers can still breathe a sigh of relief, since the much-lambasted mechs are getting far less powerful.
The newly-released 10.20 patch adds a , in an apparent attempt 🍃to keep them from absolutely dominating the playing field every single game.
Some of the main changes include:
Far less firepower: A B.R.U.T.E. now shoots six rockets in🧜stead of ten, at less than half its original fire rate, with ex✨plosion sizes notably decreased.
Less speed: The dash cooldown has been increased from three to five seconds, and boosting mid-🎃air will only give two thirds the velocity that it originally did.
No more harvesting: Pl🅰ayers inside a B.R.U.T.E. will no longer get any materials from dashing or stomping through the environment, forcing them to leave the vehicle to gather the much-needed wood, stone, and met꧑al.
It's not all negative for the B.R.U.T.E. in the latest patch, however. The health of e♎ach B.R.U.T.E. has been increased from 1000 to 1250. Epic says this change is because the nerfs will require players to use the B.R.U.T.E. more strategically, and the health boost will give them more time to do so.
