The battle pass for Cha❀pter 4, Se𒁏ason 5 of has leaked, revealing that it strangely only has 50 levels of rewards, half of what is usually available in a season.

After what has felt like one of the longest seasons of Fortnite in some time, we're finally just a few days away from the start of the long-awaited fifth season of Chapter 4. Although this is usually the time to start getting excited about all of the new things coming to the game, this season is a little different as it's taking us back in time to the good old days of Fortnite's first chapter.

Teases from the official Fortnite Twitter account have revealed a number of things we can expect to see make a return in the latest season, including Ballers, traps, hoverboards🌄, planes, and more.

Even if most Fortnite players are just excited to see all of the classic Fortnite weapons, items, vehicles, and locations making a return, that's not to say that nothing has changed for the game's latest season. Perhaps the biggest example of this is the latest battle pass, which has leaked out ahead of the season's launch and revealed that it's much slimmer pickings than usual.

Over on Twitter, alongside a summary of everything that we know about the pass from the leaks. For starters, it's going to be called the "OG Pass", to go along with the season being called Fortnite: OG. Strangely, it seems that this upcoming season might not even be called Chapter 4, Season 5, as it seems to be less of a dedicated season and more of its own, smaller thing.

Another strange thing about the battle pass is that it only has 50 tiers of rewards this time around, half of the usual 100 tiers that every other season of Fortnite offers. This supports the idea that Fortnite: OG isn't going to be counted as its own dedicated season and that it's more of a spin-off this time around.

Some have speculated that this could mean that the OG Pass is free, but leaked images of the rewards clearly show a store link saying "Get The OG Pass". There's no word yet on pricing, but it seems likely that it's going to be cheaper considering it has half of a usual season's content.

According to the leaks, Fortnite: OG's pass also won't feature any kind of collaboration or bonus skins, as the rewards will instead all be based on original skins that have been mixed together, like Renegade Lynx being a combination of the Renegade Raider and Lynx skins. There will at least be bonus rewards to be earned in the season, although it's not yet clear how many there are going to be.
