is making a huge change to h🧔ow Shield Potions work in Chapter 5 and♌ allowing players to use them while moving instead of forcing them to stand still.

Over the past few weeks, Epic has been teasing that Fortnite's fifth Chapter is going to be a very big deal for the game and change things up considerably, something that's been backed up by insiders claiming that it's the biggest update Fortnite will ever receive. That seemed difficult to believe at first, (which, in typical Fortnite fashion, was leaked before Epic could ♛off𒈔icially release it) has already shown ﷽off a ton of new and improved mechanics.

168澳洲幸运5开奖网: I Don't Know What Fortnite Is Anymore

I used to play♎ Fortnite every day. Now when I occasionally jump back in, I don't really know w💧hat I'm looking at anymore.

As interesting as it is to see a train on the Island and get a glimpse at the new weapon mod system, the biggest surprise of the launch trailer and for Chapter 5 as a whole is actually a change that's been made to one of the cornerstones of Fortnite's gameplay mechanics - the Shield Potion.

As I'm sure you're all aware, using a Shield Potion (and pretty much every health and shield recovery item aside from unique ones like Chug Splash) usually forces the player to stand still while they slurp the blue juice down, which leaves them open to being attacked and necessitates the use of cover and correctly timing when to use the item. It's simple risk versus reward.

. At one point in the trailer, we can clearly see a player drinking a Shield Potion while advancing on some enemies. They definitely seem to be slowed down a bit when using the Shield Potion, but even being able to move a little is a big change for Fortnite's mechanics.

It's not currently clear whether this is a change that's going to effect every healing item in the game or if it's just for Shield Potions, but it's still a notable tweak that will dramatically impact how Fortnite plays going forward. There's also a slim chance that it could just be a new type of Shield Potion, but it looks the same as the original one does, so it seems more likely that it's a gameplay change.

Let's pray that Med-Kits and Bandages continue to make you stand still, because if they've been changed too then all of the OG players are going to have a total meltdown.
