In the legend of Icarus, the wings were created by his f꧒ather, Dওaedalus, as a way to escape their imprisonment. In the same way, the Wings of Icarus allow you to escape danger easily, while also traveling long distances across Fortnite Island. Where Can You Find The Wings Of Icarus?
In one of the new Kickstart Quests, you'll need to use the Wings of Icarus Dive Bomb attack on an opponent for 10,000 XP. But in ord🌄er to do that, you'll first need to find this item.
Wings of Icarus is an Epic (purple) Rarity item 🌟and can be quite easy to find, as you should be able to get one i▨n any number of ways.
- Some Underworld Chests or Olympus Chests will have it.
- You can find the wings as floor loot spawned randomly across the map.
- Dropped by eliminated players.

- Dropped after claiming Loot Island.
How Do You Use The Wings Of Icarus?
Now that you know how to get the wings, how do you use them? The Wings of Icarus have a few controls to figure out, and it can take some time to get used to them.
This is not a passive item, you have to select the wings in your hotbar in order to use them. Once you do that, just press your trigger button (whichever button or key you use to shoot). This will initially launch you into the air.
The Wings of Icarus starts off at a charge of 300. This number rapidly depletes over time, and doesn't recharge. Also, you can only be in the air at one time for a total of 100 charges. Once the 100 charges are used up, you'll glide down to the ground, and there will be a five-second cooldown before you can use the wings again.
When you use up all 300 charges, you won't fall to your death like Icarus did. You'll instead glide to the ground. Once you lan🍌d, the item will vanish from y💃our inventory.
