As the 𒉰new season approaches, let's look back on all the ov🍌erpowered Avatar abilities.
Well, it's taken what has felt like an eternity to finally get to the end of Myths and Mortals, but today marks the start of the long-awaited Wrecked season. As usual, , which includes our first look at the map we're going to be dropping into for the next few months.
Here's Your First Look At Fortnite Chapter 5, Season 3's Map
and , the map for Chapter 5, Season 3 doesn't make quite as many major changes as you might be expecting. The South of the map has seen the most tweaks, as it's now completely sandy and centred around the Nitrodome that can be seen in the trailer.
by pointing out that it's a circus of car spectacle that's run by Ringmaster Scarr. It seems that she'll likely be a boss at the area, and that we can expect it to be a reliable way of getting vehicles.
Outside of the Nitrodome, there are only three other new Points of Interest on the map and they're all incredibly close to one another. Redline Rig is described as a "Nitro refinery" that's run by the Machinist, which again suggests that he'll be the boss of the area. It's also a handy source of Nitro, one of the Season's main new mechanics.
Then there's Brutal Beachhead, which acts as "the base of operations for the Wasteland Warriors". You'll be able to take on Megalo Don in this area, but more importantly, you'll be able to see a wicked metal shark that might look familiar to long-time Fortnite fans. The final big map change that's shown here is Sandy Steppes, which seems to be a rethemed version of Snooty Steppes.
Outside of the four new locations, a lot of the previous Season's map is here to stay, including Rebel's Roost, The Underworld, Mount Olympus, Brawler's Battleground, Grim Gate, and a bunch of other familiar sights. If you were a fan of the Myths and Mortals Season, it looks like you'll have a lot to enjoy here.
