Respawn Entertainment's has truly taken over, even the people who made Fortnite are playing it; it's noꦡ joke. Of ๊course, it would make sense to play your rival's game in a bid to improve your own product, no?

The new free-to-play battle royale dropped on February 4 with very little warning. Tꦺhere weren't many people who knew it was coming as there was 💃no advertising or much in the way of pre-launch news.

Despite all of that, though, the game still managed to attract over one million players in its first eight hours. And by the 72-hour mark, 10 mi𒀰llion people had downloaded the game.

It took two weeks to reach that milestone but it could be said that their being the predecessor paved the way for Apex Legends, more or less.

The Titanfall spinoff is currently the most talked-about game around and is definitely providing major competition for the industry's biggest titles. But when the talk is coming from a high-profile figure from Epic Games, the developers of Fortnite, some attention should be paid.

Mark Rein, Epic's Co-Founder and Vice President has actually givenꦗ his seal of approval. And what's more, he appears to be playing the fresh BR.

In a response to a Twitter user's recommendation, Rei♕n confir♔med that he has tried out Apex Legends and found it to be "very good".

Respawn CEO Vince Zampella has been quite active on Twitter himself as of late and has been sharing the game's progress and achievements since its launch. ⭕He caught wind of the tweet too and offered to take care of drinks the next time he meets Rein.

"Means a lot coming 𒅌from you Mark!" he ܫ. "I believe I owe you drinks next time we meet up!"

"I will enjoy that," Mark replied.

Apex Legends should only get better. The developers have a whole year of new content planned ou🤪t and there 🐽should be plenty of updates as the weeks roll by.

Of course, Fortnite is likely to reply. But that can only be good for players, some o🍌f which have already threatened to quit the game due to various gripes with Epic.
