Fortnite will be hosting another digital concert featuring deadmau5, as weꦐll as Dillon Francis and Steve Aoki.
The concert is being held as a celebration of Fortnite's (which has actually already been released), on this coming Friday, 8th May, at 9 p.m. Eastern Time. It's due☂ to run only for an hour, but if you can't make it there will be a rebroadcasted encore on 9th May, from 2 p.m. ET to 3 p.m. ET.
This will be the third digital concert to be held in Fortnite recently. Travis Scott put on a 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:record-breaking in-game concert near the end of last month that attracted over 12.3 million spectators, and Jordan Fisher and Diplo hosted on 2nd May. Presumably the upcoming Party Royale Premiere conceꦯrt is meant to pull out all the stops, what with three music giants lined up - each with their own distinct sets - to give a live back-to-back performance that wiꦉll hopefully blow some socks off.
Apparently to enter this show unlike the previous on𓂃es - you can literally just jump into Party Royale at any time during the performance.
As an added bonus, players will get - the new Neon Wings Back Bling - to wear to the concert, too. The Wings are apparently music-reactive, meaning they'll probably do cool things like change colors depending on what music is playing. All you have to do to get the Wings is log into Fortnite anytime from 8th May at 6 p.m. ET to 11th Ma🐈y at 10 a.m. ET.
It's really very cool to be seeing digital events like this taking placꩵe that allow people to gather and celebrate together in ways that aren't possible right now while we're all in quarantine. And actually, global pandemic or not, gathering 12.3 million people at a concert IRL would be pretty tough to accomplish anyway.
With no clear idea of when giant concerts and similar social gatherings will be allowed in the real world again, we're sure to be seeing more similar events popping up over the next few months. Who said quarantine would be borꦛing?
