There's a "Loot Boat" lurking off the shores of Fortnite's island. Here's how to find it and the boatload (get it?) of good♕ies🌜 that await you.
If you hadn't already heard, Fortnite Season 3 is all about boats, water, Aquaman, basically anything and everything that can be linked to H2O. Most of the game's map has been left flooded after what we're assuming was a failed attempt by Season 2's Midas to encase the island in a wall of water. Now Midas is gone, and Fortnite is soaking wet.
Season 3 is now two and a half weeks old which means anything Epic wants players to discover at this point will have been discovered. Whether that something is Whirlpools, Loot Sharks,ജ or all of 🎃the new locations brought about by the water. It also includes something that has been dubbed the Loot Boat which the majority of players will not have paid a visit to yet, or even know of its existence.
That's because Fortnite's Loot Boat is small, never stays in one place, and does not show up on the map. As demonstrated by YouTuber Ali-A, the only way to make it to the Loot Boat is by scanning the island's shoreline as soon as you leap from the Battle Bus. Ali-A🌱 spots it 🌜out to sea and glides down towards it. Take too long to spot it, and the opportunity to get there will be missed.
Once found and landed on, that's when the fun really begins. Despite its size, the Loot Boat features loads of, well, loot. More chests than players can 🐼shake a stick at, including the rarer types, and even a Loot Crate the owner of the boat appears to have stowed away. Plus, be sure to harvest materials while you're ther༒e, particularly the boat's mast, as it will more than set you up for the rest of the round ahead.
It can be easy to get carried away gathering up items and potions and everything else the boat has to offer. The storm will arrive there sooner than anywhere else on the map though due to how far offshore it spawns.꧋ Thankfully, there's a speedboat on the back for a quick getaway once the storm arrives. Be sure to visit it soon as now more people are di𓄧scovering the Loot Boat, competition for its bounty might get a little stiff.
