Last year, Fortnite finallyꦓ crossed over with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, bringing the four crime-fighting heroes in a half shell to the Battle Bus alongside April. It didn't end there, however, as last we saw Epic Games' take on the TMNT's archnemesis Shredder, but the collection wouldn't be complete without the rat who trained them.
Finally, we have our first look at Splinter. He's not short and hunched-over as with most depictions, but tall and lean to fit with Fortnite's aesthetic (and no doubt to avoid hitbox problems 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:like Peter Griffin).
We also have a new, in-game look at Shredder. The version we saw last month was actually the Super variant who is "Enhanced by the power of the same mutagen that gave the Turtles life". Now, we know what standard Shreddeಞr looks like, more closely resembling his comic and cartoon design.
Both versions of Shredder come with Lego versions, available to use in the new su💖rvival♏ mode. You can see those embedded below.
As we saw last year, each Turtle comes with their accompanying weapon as both back bling and pickaxes, but we now have a look at the glider which is a green, TMNT-themed hoverboard. Supply drops will also get a skin to accompany the crossover, swapping the giant balloon with Raphael's big head.
It's unclear when we'll get our hands on Shredder and co., but reputable leaker Shiina did uncover a work-in-progress Event Pass for the crossover, similar to 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the recent Metal Gear Solid one. It appears this is how we'll unlock the TMNT's most iconic villain. They also uncovered a new back bling, Krang, the "alien warlord from Dimension X". That's one way to fit him into Fortnite.
The Turtles and April ꧅both caꦆme to the Item Shop on December 14, but they left shortly after on December 27.
Funnily enough, a superhero team that TMNT once crossed over with is rumoured to be coming to Fortnite as well. As reported by , a Power Rangers collaboration is allegedly on the cards, specifically the original '90s Mighty Morphin squad. Soon enough, we might be able to recreate Shell Shocked, just without the In Space team. Close enough, eh?
