Free Comic Book Day returns in July with two🦋 offerings from Maﷺrvel.

As with many things during the pandemic, 🅺with every comic and games shop in the country was forced to close in order to respect social distancing🍰. Sucks, but what’re you gonna do? No amount of free comic books is worth getting a potentially deadly illness.

But now Free Comic Book Day is coming back! At least a little bit. Only Marvel is prov💞iding a pair of free comics, but they seem like pretty good offerings with some classic characters to get us 💮all in the mood.

The first arrives on July 15 and is titled Free Comic Book Day 2020: X-Men. As the name suggests, it’ll involve the X-Men with a s🍌tory written by Jonathan Hickman and Pepe Larraz. It’ll be the lead-in to a larger crossover event called X of Swords, where everyone seems to suddenly get a sword. Or something.

The other free comic comes on July 22. Free Comic Book Day 2020: Spider-Man/Venom wil🦋l contain two tales that connect upcoming storylines involving Venom, Spider-Man, and Black Cat.

Keep in mind that although some comic shops are back open again, not all of them are, and most places still have social distancing rules in place. Call ahead to see if your local shop is open and ask ๊about curbside pickup.
