Apparently, the world of Disney’s Frozen exists in the Mortal Kombat universe.

Mortal Kombat is an extremely violent fighting game that has existed as a franchise since 1992. Frozen is a Disney film that came out in 2013 and features a cast of colorful characters as tꦉhey try to stop the incredible out-of-control powers of an ice-wielding princess.

And now, the two have finally become one.

We have the return of Frost to thank for this unlikely crossover. The former Sub-Zero protege has returned in Mortal Kombat 11 to seek vengeance on his former master for imprisoning her in ice several times when aꦜll she wanted was to take over the Lin Kuei clan and rule it with a frozen fist. Made out of ice. Becaไuse she’s Frost.

She might be bacꦉk as a mostly cyberized version of herself, but that doesn’t make her power over ice any less potent. Sort of like a certain Disney princess.

In MK 11, there’s a bit of an easter egg intro depending on who Frost is facing. When she faces off against Cassie Cage, she joking refers to Frost as “Elsa”. Having been frozen in a block of ice while Frozen was out in theatres (and apparently unable to rent the film online), Frost replies confused: "Ugh, why does everyone call me t🥀hat?"

Things get a little weirder when it’s Frost versus Frost. The two cloned ice ෴ninjas will start unw🐟ittingly rehearsing the song "Let It Go", which became the movie’s hit single.

We have YouTuber TetraNinja to thank for spli♔cing together these tw♓o easter eggs for our viewing enjoyment.

But there’s a larger point that comes out of this revelation, and that’s the fact that Disney exists in the Mortal Kombat universe. This means that, hypothetically speaking, Shao Khan might have at one point watched Bambi. Raiden might have seen Lilo & Stitch. Liu Kang might have viewed 101 Dalmatians. And if they did, then how could they enter a tournament where everyone is ripping out𝔍 s💜pines and beating others to death with them?
