It's unfortunate when you can see the potential in a game, but it doesn't meet that standard. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Funko Fusion is a lot of fun ideas wrappe♈d up in a messy package that never truly feels like it ex𒊎presses the reason for its existence.
You can't play potential, and what's left is𝓡 a game that has fun and funny moments, but its identity can't save it from several technical issues, unclear objectives, and unintuitive boss fights with bad telegraphing. You'll see some cool cameo reactions and get chances to live through some popular movie and TV shows as your favorite characters, but you'll end up wondering whet🌳her it was worth the time.

Exclusive Gameplay and Interview -▨ Funko Fusion - San Diego Comic-Con
Over 10 minutes ✅of gameplay and an interview for the upcoming game, 🍌Funko Fusion.
The Good In The Bad
Funko Fusion truly shines when you let go, have no expectations, and just want to play through some popular IP. Cool character selections and several unexpected cameo characters join together to create a roster where you'll be playing as Scott Pilgrim traveling through the world of Battlestar Galactica, using The Umbrella Academy’s Number 5 to teleport in the Masters of the Universe world to reach new places you couldn't before, or even to save Marty and Doc in a Back To The Future cameo level. The most fun you'll hav♓e is using powers and abilities from different characters across worlds to discover even more secrets.
More adult than Lego games that are a✨n inevitable comparison, it is funny to see a character flip the middle finger at an ice dragon or get decapitated in the most ridiculous of ways. Sadly, that's where the fun ends.
Playing Funko Fusion Feels Like A Chore
Playing through Funko Fusion feels like a chore most of the time. Levels that could take 15 minutes tops will take you double that because of the poorly communicated player expectations. There's no real indication of what to do next in any given mission. You'll spend more time running around to figure out the point of levels than you ♎will playing through them.
Several times, there are character and NPC indications that just don't make sense. The visual cues used for solving puzzles are inconsistent and unclear, especially when interactingꦉ with NPCs. This caused several instances of just trying things to see what works. One moment using Allison's ability to tell a rumor to get an NPC to play a guitar when they have a sad face works. Going into the next level, another NPC with a sad face won't work with Allison.
Inexplicably, this time, you'll need to build a recorder to take to them to make them happy and get them to do what you want. Similar visual cues for different things in the same world don't help with understanding what to do next. It’s a lot of guesswork, which just doesn’t 🐭make sense and is never fun in a gam⛄e that like that really should be holding your hand a little more.
Even without these interactions, there's really no indication ౠof what to do next most of the time. It leads to several frustrating minutes of trying everything until something works. Several levels will force you to play spec🀅ifically as certain characters, leaving most of them underutilized. It's a real disappointment when half the level is designed for just one or two of the four starting characters available for each world.
The same goe꧋s for boss battles. Most of them are rote; if you've done one, you've essentially done them all. With slight variations depending on the world, they almost all end up with you shooting down bosses that feel like generic damage sponges. You're either taking down level bosses by shooting them while getting rid of additional NPCs, or you're shooting world bosses, collecting their bubbles and filling up a tube to 30, then watching a boss come out and fight the big bad guy. That's it. There's no real strategy, but it's at least consistent.
At least the music is great… when it works. Hearing classic themes from each world really puts you into the right mood, and The Umbrella Academy especially was a nice nod with some 🌱licensed music that fits the theme. However, no audio cues are there to help you understand what's happening in the environment when you aren't looking.
Get Ready For Nonstop Enemies
Even worse is the onslaught of enemies. There's no strategy and no fun; it's nonstop-nonstop sets of waves of enemies that require nothing to defeat but a few hits. The game trades strategy and mechanics f🍌or enemies that never stop coming.
The hardest thing is just surviving the unnecessary assault. There's no break in them either; whether you're attempting to access a Funko machine for healing or necessary items for the level or interacting with something needed to complete the level, you'll be interrupted evꦗery time by enemies coming out of nowhere. It's frustrating and more disappointing than it is challenging.
You Can't Beat A Boss That's Not Reacting Properly
No matter how fun the characters or cameo appearances are, or how annoying the enemies can be, none 🅷of it matters when the worst offense Funko Fusion commits is that you can't progress because the game won't let you. Nothing is more frustrating than being stuck in a level because the game is broken, and it happened far too often.
During my playthrough, bosses got stuck in the ground, so I couldn't hit them. Envirﷺonmental actions didn't react as intended, so I couldn't kill a separate boss. An item needed to progress didn’t appear until I restarted the leve൲l. Character skills and abilities didn't work until a separate level was restarted.
Even n♓ow, the game has received several updates since its launch൲, and some of these issues still persist. What's worse is sometimes you don't know whether the game design is just bad or whether a third-level restart will trigger the necessary effect because the game is so broken.
A Broken Product Not Worth Your Time... At Least Not Yet?
Fans of Funko and the character cameos will be sure to fi𝓡nd something to like about the game, but 𝐆there's not enough to ignore the blatant issues. Maybe by the time all the broken content is patched, the game will be worth a try, but in its current shipped state, it's a fun representation of some iconic worlds in Funko versions but a fundamentally broken game with design choices that'll make you more frustrated playing through it.
There's just too much to fix to make Funko Fusion worth your time. Even if all the broken issues were fixed, the onslaught of enemies, the confusing puzz𝕴les, and zero incentive to help the player wꦰill remain. Even after several patches to balance some of these issues, the overall product remains the same, and so will the fundamental issues affecting it.
