Ever since its release in 2007 (and its re-release in 2020), Crysis has been a benchmark for graphical capability. This first person shooter puts plꦦay𒅌ers in the role of an augmented super soldier, and is incredibly solid in its execution; so much so that it garnered two sequels. But no matter how good the game is, the online jokes seem to have surpassed the game itself.
The memes of “Can it run Crysis?” still run rampant online, even though many games have graphically surpassed it over the years. As gaming technology evolves, graphics have become nearly photo-realistic in many instances. But with the Crysis remaster out now, which games have actuallﷺy surpassed the title of Crysis-level visuals?
10 ꦆ Marvel’s Spider-Man 𒆙
This Insomniac title (and its sequel Spider-Man: Miles Morales), has Spider-Man looking the best he ever has. Marvel’s Spider-Man on the PS4 blew everyone away. Not only was the game absolutely incredible, but the graphics were amazing (pun completely intended). The detailed New York cityscape and the sunlight that gleamed through the concrete jungle were jaw-dropping, and each and every strand of fabric on every Spidey suit was visible and in-depth. This game can do 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:everything a Spider can, and more.
9 The Last Of Us Part II 💦🧜
One of the most anticipated (and the most controversial) video games of the last console generation, The Last Of Us Part II did not disappoint when it came to its next-level graphics. Nearly appearing photo-realistic at times, Naughty Dog’s intense post-apocalyptic adventure both generally looked gorgeous, while also providing some shockingly detailed br⭕utality in action sc🃏enes. With 4K support, The Last Of Us Part II is sure to stun anyone who is able to sit through its nail-biting campaign.
8 Detroit: Become Human ꦛ
This decision-based story heavy game has some of the most convincing facial animation in the history of video games. Detroit: Become Human is the latest game from Quantic Dream, and it follows the same formula as their previous works (Heavy Rain/Beyond Two Souls). Quantic Dream has💖 always broken ground with their graphics, and Detroit: Become Human is the most stunning so far.
Everything in general looks fantastic, but this game shines in truly𝔉 getting the faces completely right, which is very difficult to do; the eyes in particular are expressive and filled with life, which is both amazing but also ironic considering the game is filled with androids and yet includes some of the most human-looking faces ever created in a video game.
7 ꧃ Doom Eternal ꧟
This critically acclaimed sequel to the reboot (not confusing at all), Doom Eternal is praised for many things regarding its 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:satisfying second-to-second gameplay, but its stunning visuals deserve just as much praise. Between the satisfyingly detailed curves and edges of each weapon, to the amazing landscapes that have players looking out for minutes on end, to figure out the story of a particular through visual cues only. The hell-spawn that you need to gun down are so rich in design and detail that even though it’s way too fun to slay these demons, you can’t help but appreciate their design before they’re d🐬estroyed.
6 Resident Ev⭕il 2/3 Remake
When Resident Evil fans found out that they were getting remakes to some of their favorite games of the series, they couldn’t have exp✃ected that they would be both great games and graphical powerhouses. The Resident Evil 2/3 Remakes are both gorgeous to look🦂 at, but it will scare the daylights out of you if you stop and smell the roses for too long. The detail in the faces and bodies of the relentless zombies only further the terror that you will have to face.
5 D💫🌱evil May Cry 5
While having a very similar graphical style to the Resident Evil Remakes (they both use the fantastic RE Engine), Devil May Cry 5 takes everything to the next level. The gameplay is fast and fierce, and the visuals keep up with every swipe and slash. The facial expressions on each character are so detailed and realistic, which is interlocked with out-of-this-world creature designs, creative weaponry, 🎶and hellish landscapes.
4 Final Fantasy 7 Remake ꧟
The Final Fantasy games are always brimming with life and imagination, and the Final Fantasy Remake had big shoes to fill. The job of doing a worthwhile remake of one the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:most influential RPGs of all time is no easy feat, but Final Fantasy 7 𝕴Remake💎 does it with flying colors (literally).
The characters are reimagined in such an expressive way𒁃, the lighting is jaw-dropping, and 🍒the landscapes around Midgar are so detailed that every inch needs to be explored.
3 Ghost Of Tsushima ๊ 🍰
This game won Best Art Direction at the 2020 Game Awards for a reason. Ghost of Tsushima’s graphical prowess and art style is often beyond words, and forced many players to use the photo mode in a game for the first time. The 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:epic samurai duels in flower fields, beneath trees with falling leaves,ജ or within a thunderstorm, Tsushima brims with life and its visuals are a huge part of that. Plus, playing the game in the amazing “Kurosawa mode” makes gameplay nearly identical to watching a classic samurai film.
2 🐬 Kingdom Hearts 3 ಞ
While not sporting realism as its main wow factor, Kingdom Hearts 3 wows in completely different ways. This 168♉澳洲幸运5开奖网:l⛦ong-awaited finale to the Dark Seeker Saga, Kingdom Hearts 3 was the first next-gen Kingdom Hearts game (if you don’t count Kingdom Hearts 0.2: Birth by Sleep - A Fragmentary Passage), and it proved that it deserved to be there. The numerous Disney worlds that Sora♍, Donald, and Goofy travel are often completely indistinguishable from their 🐓movie counterparts. If that wasn’t enough, the multitudes of attacks that Sora can unleash are so visually unique and expressive, that it can be quite unbelievable sometimes.
1 Cuphead
The total opposite of trying to pull off the most realistic graphics of the console generation, Cuphead’s graphical style instead innovates and looks amazing in other ways. The game perfectly emulates old time cartoons, and the expressive animations of every character and enemy is filled with personality and pep. The colors are bright and vibrant, and the art style has players believe that they’ve transported back to the golden age of cartoons, and that they’ꦬre not even playing a game at all.
