Fans have been awaiting 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Elden Ring for years, and now we finally have it in our hands. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Much to the game's critical acclaim, it se𒈔ems that fans are not disappointed with the world FromSoftware has created this time around. However, with Dark Souls finished and Elden Ring acting as the next step for the subgenre, where do we go from here?
FromSoftware knows what it is good at creating, and it has been proved time and time again. Whether it is another Souls style game, or something different entirely, here are some games that we'd love to see FromSoft make next - after all, we know they'd do them well.
5 ✱ Bloodborne 2
This one is pretty obvious. Fans have been asking for a sequel to 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Bloodborne for years, since the original's release in 2015. We cannot wait to dive further into the dark and corrupted world of Yharnam, and the themes that surround it. While The Old Hunters DLC and the Chalice Dungeons offered more depth and lore to be uncovered, there is so much more that could be done.
Perhaps we could explore a new setting, or go even further into the mystery of the Great Ones. Maybe we could look more into the Healing Church, the Vilebloods, and the massacre of Cainhurst. Or even just as simple as: what comes next after Bloodborne? Are things truly fixed, or 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:have we yet more to fear? World building is FromSoft's strength, and they could no doubt build this one up even more than we could imagine.
4 A Sci-Fi Setting 𒁏
Like 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Dark Souls, but in space? Yeah, why not? We've seen the medieval settings of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Demon's Souls, the fallen fantasy of Dark Souls, the gothic horror of Bloodborne, and every surreal creation they have tackled in between. So, while Bloodborne may have had a big focus on aliens, why not tak𝕴e to the stars completely?
FromSoft could create some extremely 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:detailed and gorgeous locations, be it on alien planets or set in the metal corridors of a space station. Not only this, but it gives the designers even more freedom to get weird with the creatures - you know, because they're not weird enough already. A big, messed-up space god bringing blight to a strange planet home to entities beyond your understanding? Yeah, sounds good.
3 Armored Core🐈 𒅌
168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Fans of mecha 🐽games 💃and this classic series would be happy to see a return. Though not a Souls game or anything similar, Armored Core is something that FromSoft has done well - after all, the♈ team is capable of so much more beyond crushingly-difficult RꦯPGs.
Though the genre and the series have been left alone for quite some time, the demand is there - though niche, it still exists. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Daemon X Machina offered something in the way of a mecha game for fans who had been missing the style of game, but Armored Core would undoubtedly be welcomed among the communities. Not only that, but with FromSoft's ever-expanding expertise, it would be a brilliant series to revisit.
2 A Liminal Horroꦦr Game 🐭
You could argue that many of the areas FromSoft has featured in its existing games are already liminal horror, so let's just go all the way with it. FromSoft knows how to make you on edge, uncomfortable, and absolutely terrified of the things you can't see - and better yet, the things you can't understand. The cold corridors of Irithyl Dungeon; the all-too-quiet halls of The Lecture Theatre; even Anor Londo can be terrifying when you don't know what's around the corner.
Surreal locations, long corridors, and spaces that don't quite feel right. Creatures that you can't imagine lurking in the darkness, and a feeling of urgency in the quietest of moments. This is what FromSoft does well, and this is what FromSoft should do. If we had a true horror experience, but with no Moonlight Greatsword or parrying to protect us, then it could very well excel to become one of the scariest experiences of all time.
1 A Living, High Fantasy World ♌
Elden Ring showcases FromSoft's first open world Souls experience. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Needless to say, it works. Though the world is massive and offers you so many ways to tackle things, it still holds true to the Souls feeling and atmosphere. So, why not take this a step further and create a game to rival the likes of The Elder Scrolls, or a world as grand as Middle-earth itself? Just imagine your usual Souls game, but everyone isn't suffering all the time.
FromSoft is more than capable of creating just about anything and doing it well, and the worlds are some of the most detailed and intricate we have ever seen. Imagine a game like Elden Ring, but with populated cities, lively landscapes, and those little moments of true peace between it all - then, dungeons, dragons, and all of the lore you could ever wish for. A world with humans, elves, dwarves, and all of the typical things you'd expect. If we ever got a game like this, we'd probably stop asking for The Elder Scrolls 6 entirely - we'd basically have it already.
