Games Workshop has a long history of licensed franchise games on digital platforms, but this marks the first time one of its IP is headed to VR. Pixel Toys has a good relationship with GW and the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Warhammer franchise, having produced the multi-award winning mobile games Warhammer: Freeblade and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Warhammer: Age of Sigmar: Realm War. With its 🙈proven experience, it’s no wonder that it was chosen to bring the Warhammer 40,000 universe onto the Facebook-owned all-in-one platform, Oculus Quest.
Battle Sister was announced during Facebook Connect, an online event that focused on virtual a🌃nd augmented reality. The new Warhammer 40,000 title will allow gamers to experience the grim future of the 41st millennium like never before. Players take on the role of a member of Adepta Sororitas, an all-female faction in the Warhammer 40,000 universe closely tied to the Imperium’s Ecclesiastic Order. They are hardened fighters tasked with hunting out corruption and heresy across the Imperium. As well as a full 360 experience, th🌠e title uses the touch controllers giving us the true feeling of what it feels like to wield the powerful weapons of the grim future.
Warhammer 40,000 is a tabletop wargame now in its 9th edition. It pits two players against one another, each with an army of miniature soldiers. These are highly detailed models that ༒usually come in kit form. Before play, they must be assembled and painted, with the latter a hobby in its own right. Games are played over a series of turns where the miniatures are able to perform different actions including movement and combat. There are comprehensive rules that the players follow, with victory awarded upon the completion of objectives.
