The news comes from the , where the company's events team recently published details of the competition. According to the postꦰ in question, store managers are being asked to rope their teams into recording a synchronized dance on TikTok. The wording is admittedly pretty arcane. This could be an improper way of giving someone ten hours off during Black Friday without amending their pay, which would be pretty nice. Alternatively, it could be that the store in question will bﷺe allocated ten extra hours to help manage Black Friday demand, although you'd think a retailer being subsidized by Microsoft would be able to ensure its employees aren't understaffed and overwork๊ed — again, during a pandemic when most retailers have already fully adopted click-and-collect systems that revolve around limited store capacity, therefore ensuring employees aren't at heightened risk.
The competition seems to have started yesterday and the winner will reportedly be announced on Friday. I don't know about you, but if I won a compet🐈ition right now and someone said, "your prize is an extra ten hours of work right after the launch of next-gen consoles when loads of people are still refusing to even wear a mask," I'd probably r🌸ing in sick.
