The late 1990s gave us numerous top-rated168澳洲幸运5开奖网: gaming titles and cult classics that have stayed in our minds as the years drift away. From Metal Gear Solid to Nights Into Dreams, the late 90s were a great time for games. One beloved cult classic from that era is MediEvil, a 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Playstation 1 action-adventure game that has players tak🐠e on the role of a coward𓄧ly undead knight. While some games live in our minds for a long time, others tend to fall quickly into obscurity.

In one such case, the PlayStation 2 game Ghosthunter is not going to be a game everyone is going🐼 to know. Released in 2003, Ghosthunter had players take on the role of - you guessed it - ghosthunters. The third-person action game was nothing groundbreaking, receiving s🅷omewhat lukewarm reviews, but it might have its own following out there. It is no MediEvil, but it does have a connection to that beloved cult classic.

Freddie Fortesque Ghosthunter

In Ghosthunter, when players reach theꩲ H.M.S Victoria stage, they encounter a ghost crawling around trying to pick up his ghostly head. The spirit in question sports an English accent and reveals his name to be Colonel Freddie Fortesque. Fans of MediEvil can quickly spot that the ghost shares the same surname as Sir Daniel Fortesque, the game's protagonist.

While not 🥀Sir Daniel himself, players possibly met a descendent of the undead knight. It makes the most sense considering Ghsothunter was developed by SCE Cambridge Studio, now know൩n as Guerrilla Cambridge, the same team that developed the MediEvil games. Also, two undead British characters? No way they can't be related!

Nothing else in the game seems to allude to a connection to Sir Daniel, aside from their name, but it is a cute reference to a beloved classic. Unfortunately for the dozens of Ghosthunter fans out there, while there is love for MediEvil, do not expect the same loving references to Ghosthun❀ter in ot♔her games. The concept of Ghosthunter is neat, but the gameplay never seemed to quite live up to the fun world of the game. Here's to hoping a new MediEvil adventure comes soon.
