Now, it’s really no huge newsflash to learn that we gamers don’t tend to appreciate microtransactions. As with any other purchase we make, we want to know we’re getting our money’s worth. It has a premium price tag to match. The gameplay’s a blast, some of the best from the series to date, but, yet again, microtransactions are rearing their ugly heads. Cosmetics only, for the most part, but some poor choice of banners and such, coupled with high pricesܫ, have fans more than a little concerned about the whole system.
Rod Fergusson of The Coalition has taken to Twitter to ⛄address these worries. It’s a learning process and things 🌜are changing, he promises:
It’s certainly true that the familiar 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Gears of War formula has been shaken up this time around, with the battle pass system and the inherent changes to the ways players advance. What’s important is that the dreaded concept of pay-to-win doesn’t sneak in here. Interesting optional cosmetics at a fair pr෴ice? That’s a tough thing to argue against. At the moment, though, it’s not exactly what players are getting.
