Summary
- The Kalos region is getting the Pokemon Sitting Cutie plush treatment.
- Every single Pokemon from Gen Six has been turned into a Sitting Cutie, including different variants of Pokemon like Vivillon.
- The collection is only available in Japan for now but will almost certainly be rolled out elsewhere at a later date.
Outside of the main series of video games, Pokemon doesn't tend to add generations in order. Sure, the original 151 are usually the first Pokemon added to anything in an ൩attempt to get even the most casual fans interested, but after 🐲that, it's usually all over the place. The only exception is Pokemon Fit, more commonly referred to as Sitting Cuties. Pokemon has been rolling out its Sitting Cutie plushes a generation at a time since 2018, and now it's the turn of Gen Six.
Sitting Cutie plushes get their name from the fact that every single design has the Pokemon sitting up, despite how you might fi൩nd them in the ga🐎mes. The creators of the plushes achieve that by weighting the plushes with microbeads.
A first look at the Kalos Region's Sitting Cutie collection was shared on social media towards the end of last week, and the colle𝔍ction will be available in Japan starting from June 15. When Pokemon merch is released in Japan first, there's always a risk that it n༺ever finds its way to Pokemon Centers around the world. Although the length of the wait is undetermined, there's a far higher chance this particular Japan-only release will eventually be released in the US and elsewhere since the rest of Pokemon's Sitting Cutie collection is available in other countries.
In theory, the sixth generation of Pokemon would have been the easiest to turn into a Sitting Cutie collection since with just 72 Pokemon, it's the smallest generation so far. However, wanting to be exhaustive when it comes to this particular arm of its Pokemon plush range, The Pokemon Company has included more than 72 plushes in its Kalos Sitting Cutie expansion. A picture of every plush includ🧸ed reveals each version of Vivillon has its own Sitting Cutie - there are 18 in total - as does every version of Furfrou.
Every Sitting Cutie In Pokemon's Gen Six Rollout
If you can't wait for Kalos's Sitting Cuties to find their way to the US, there are ways to order them from Japan. It's not as expensive as usual either since the yen is weak versus the dollar right now, but even when factoring in the exchange rate the plushes will still cost you more than they will if you wait due to the shipping. Again, Sitting Cuties are unlike most𒆙 other Pokemon products since the re𒊎st of the collection is available worldwide which means they will almost certainly be available elsewhere eventually.
A busy month in May for Pokemon plushes has continued into June, not only via the new Sitting Cuties, but also at Target where 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:so🌳me of Pokemon's sleeping plushes are on sale. Last month, some of Po𒀰kemon's So𝕴da Pop plushes were added to the US Pokemon Center for the first time, and the first Paradox Pokemon has been given the pl🐈ush treatment. The Paradox plushes are currently exclusive to the Japanese Pokemon Center, but hopefully they'll be released in the US and other countries 🌱should they sell well enough.
