If you've been to the Gilded Desert area of Sumeru in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Genshin Impact, you are probably aware of the extensive underground ruins. When you go through the surface, you'll find it empty with a couple of chests here and there because most of the Desert is locked behind the main World Quest.
The World Quests are notorious for revealing some secret areas in other regions as well, but the developers took it to the next level in Sumeru. You can't reach 100 percent exploration on any region until you go through the World Quests and unlock different areas.
How To Get An Introduction To Indoor Archaeology Quest
An Introduction To Indoor Archaeology is the second quest in the Golden Slumber quest line. To get this World Quest, you have to head over to Aaru Village and talk to Bonifaz. When you start the quest, you'll have to meet Tirzad, two Eremites, and Bonifaz's brother 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:in Lost In The Sands quest.
Since you find them in a deep hole and they can't use Teleport Waypoints, you'll have to lead them through some ruins to reach outside. During this, you'll meet Benben and learn a lot about Tirzad, Jeht, and Jebrael. In the end, you'll come across a cave structure where you'll find a Seelie to the left.
Follow this Seelie through the caves and it will lead you directly outside. As soon as you step outside the ruins, the Lost In The Sands quest will come to an end and An Introduction To Indoor Archaeology will begin.
How To Reach Khemenu Temple
Once you leave the ruins, the start of An Introduction To Indoor Archaeology quest will ask you to go to the Sobek Oasis. When you get to the area with your companions, they'll decide to take a break and set up camp. In the next part, Jebrael will ask you to go to a higher level with him.
You don't have to climb the entire structure to get to the top. There'll be a sandy wind current to your left, and you can use a grapple to get to the location after going up with the current.
In this area, Jebrael will show you a certain tomb and talk in riddles before telling you that he knows about the stone slate in your possession. He'll ask you to keep it safe as it could be very useful to find the answers Tirzad is looking for. You can head back down to the camp after this dialogue.
At the campsite, everyone will have a nice chat around the fire where Tirzad will talk about his unhappiness with the work. Before leaving on the next day, Jebrael will ask you to bury some supplies around the camp. Once that is done, you can head over to your next l𝓀ocation known as the Khemenu Temple.
There are no Teleport Waypoints that can take you closer, but you can use a bunch of grapples on the way. Finally, you'll land on the entry to the temple with two grapples on the pillars on each side.
How To Get Past Khemenu Temple
As you reach the location, you might see a couple of puzzles guarded by a red book around the area. Ignore these for now since you need extra clearance for them, and they aren't a part of the quest. Follow the blue marker t൩o enter the temple wherꦫe Benben will open the first door for you after the dialogue.
Keep going straight through the hallway where you'll see broken Primal Constructs on the left and right sides. As you get to the next room, there'll be another door blocking your way, and Benben can't help you this time around. Instead, you'll see a doorway with a blue book on your left and right.
Make sure you don't go back to the hallway with the broken Primal Constructs. This room also has a door on each side, but they're blocked by red books that can't be opened just yet. The rooms you're looking for are right beside the main door in the middle.
Open the room on your left side by interacting with the book, and you can go down the stairs while turning left. When you get to the bottom, you'll see a locked pedestal with a Primal Construct in your way. Defeat the enemy and the pedestal will 📖create a blue orb, which works similarl🔯y to a Seelie.
Interact with the orb and follow it back up the stairs. It will stop at another pedestal on the way, but you can simply interact with it again. In the end, the orb will get inserted into one of the pillars in front of the main door.
Once that is done, open the door to your right and go to the bottom part once again. This time, you'll see a blue prism floating in the air beside a unique tile on the ground. Go near the prism to pick it up and place it on the tile, which will spawn another blue orb for you to follow to the second pillar.
This will open the main door, and you can go down after the dialogue. Make sure you activate the Teleport Waypoint down here before doing anything else. Keep going forward to find another blocked door where Tirzad will get tired again. After the dialogue, head back through the way you came and you'll see Jeht and Benben to your left.
As you enter the path beside these two NPCs, you have to keep going forward but be careful of the unique tile in between. This tile lights up when you step on it, and it will disappear after a few seconds, making you fall into a different area. You don't have to fall down to continue the quest. Instead, you can keep going straight and then turn left.
If you do fall down by mistake, you can follow the path until you come into the room with stairs leading back up on your left. At the top, there will be a blue book that will let you open the door and you'll be back on the path with the breaking platform.
When you turn left and go forward, you'll stumble into a room with one Primal Construct in front of an interesting structure. Defeat the enemy and use the grapples to get to the top. There's an hourglass puzzle here, which is optional, but it can make the process easier for you. Activate the first hourglass and you'll have to interact with two more before the time runs out.
After doing that, you can grapple to the highest point to claim the chest and you'll have an invisible wall below you here. In front, you'll see another pedestal with a blue orb. Interact with it and follow the orb. After a bit, it will fit into another pedestal, opening the door for you. Keep following it until it fits into the first pillar.
Next, head back to where you found Jeht and Benben, but follow the path to your right this time. After a while, you'll find Jebrael standing in front of another room. Enter the room and use the grapples to get to the top again. Here, you'll see a blue prism just above the unique tile. Fit the prism into the tile to spawn another pedestal.
Once again, follow the orb to its pedestal and the next door will open, revealing an elevator. Use the elevator to go down, and go to the rune at the far end of the room. This will trigger the final set of dialogue for An Introduction To Indoor Archaeology quest. The Secret Of Al-Ahmar quest will begin after the new door open♐s.
