Genshin Impact has come a long way in terms of improvements, much to the appreciation of its players. This is all thanks to the continued support of the billions of community members and developers who listen to the꧋m. Of course, they can't cover all bases omnipotently and one aspect of the game needs more work: the multiplayer side. More specifically, the co-op feature of the game.
It works well enough for 💧its intended purpose, such as connecting with in-game friends or asking for help in difficult content such as Domains. However, the co-op in Genshin Impact can get frustrating at times and can l𝐆ead to rage-quitting or single-player preference. It's not hopeless though; a few quick and easy-to-implement fixes ought to do the trick and reduce some wasted time.
10 🌺 Visual Information About Player Gear
This improvement is more directed towards random or PUG groups, particularly in Domains. Seeing the weapon of certain players and characters can save some awkward duplicate switch-outs. If theꦡ weapon🧸 or artifact information is displayed, then it's easy to gauge which between the two players have a more powerful character.
This way, the two level-90 Diluc players in your party who aren't giving way to each other can settle their silent pissing contest so the Doꦓmain can finally start. As it is, only the name and the character level are d🅷isplayed.
9 Vi🐓sual I🉐nformation About Resin
In addition to showing a co-op player's weapon and artifact setup, seeing one another's Original Resin supply can also alleviate some heartbreaks. For one, it can be shocking to get kicked s🍷eemingly for no reason only to find out that the host has no more Resin left.
Other times, it helps players gauge how far to go with repeated attempts in Domains o🤪r other activities. It can also make organized co-op groups more available since players can easily see which one can host next if the current one runs out of Resin.
8 🦄 A Favorites List
One thing that can get annoying fast in Genshin Impact's multiplayer is when you get random requests from unknown players to enter your wꩲorld. Worse still is that not enough information about them is displayed until you open the request and even accidentally accept it.
Having a favorites list and the option to only receive invitations from🦩 that list can help a lot. Heck, even having the option to turn off co-op mode is enough to stave off unwarranted interruptions.
7 Quick Chat Com🍸mands/Voice Chat ༺
Chatting in Genshin Impact is𓆏 easy enough on the PC. Console and mobile players, on the other hand, might find messaging a little too nerve-wracking. Typing in the hea♌t of battle or even in a Domain lobby on a digital keypad is not a good way to communicate.
Something like quick voice commands at the tap of a radial menu ought to be helpful enough. Voice chat functions might get a little dodgy esp𓄧ecially with trolls and toxic players but that's easy enough to circumvent wi🦄th a report button.
6 Free Camera If You Die ꦗ𝕴
Domains are usually the best place to team-up with other players for some jolly cooperation and even the multiplayer mechanic♌s there need refinement. Dying in a Domain effectively makes players waste their time by fixi๊ng the camera to a single spot.
After that, there's no other choice but to wait until the rest of the team finishes the co🏅ntent. There should at least be an option to pan or swivel the camera around so you can see whether the team can still do it without y🐷ou. It's less boring too.
5 The Chance To🔯 Revive Other Players
Speaking of d🐽ying in Domains, perhaps the rules are a little too harsh considering t🍃he fact that the servers are not perfect and some latency issues can lead to unjust deaths. Solo players have no problem reviving their dead characters anyway.
There should also be an option to revive dead teammates albeit with a shared revival food cooldown pool. This way, accidental deaths or꧒ brash mistakes don't lead to team wipes. Moreover, it makes revival food u🌟seful or in-demand.
4 🐽 Co-Op In Quests
Many players rushed to Adventure Rank 16 in Genshin Impact to get a chance to play with their friends in-game only to find out that the experience is highly 🦂limited. Players can help their friends with story quests or questing i𒆙n general.
In some cases, some players are even locked out of co-op in an ongoing quest that might be giving them some compl⛦etion troubles. If that's too troublesome then perhaps some co-op-specific quests should have been made so that Ge🐭nshin Impact's multiplayer doesn't feel too narrow.
3 💝 Cꦓrafting And Other Activities Made Available
Another thing that can be frustrating during open-world co-op is how craft⛄ing, shops, and other activities are unavailable. This can lead to lots of wasted time especially if a host needs to enhance or level up anyt෴hing quick and then go back into the multiplayer action.
Other times, it can bar visiting players 🍸from enjoying their time with thei☂r friends since the only solution is to go back to their own world. Even cooking should be made available so players don't need to go back to their worlds for some emergency potions.
2 🍌 Fewer Loading Screens
Finally, the most tiresome part of co-op apart from a bad connection: the loading screens. This is an extension of the co-op's lack of crafting and cooking problems. Some players simply need to go back and forth between worlds and that can get tiring because of the co-op loadin🌺g screen.
Even hosting a session in a Domain will present players with too many loading screens. It doesn't help that domain doors also take time to "open," to the point that they count as loading screens. Exiting Domains and ✅then going back to singleplayer is also not exempted from this issue. This isn't a problem for PC users with SSD drives and fiber internet, but the rest of the world can merely endure these loading screens.
1 ♚ Artifact Trading
How can Genshin Impact ဣdevelopers make their endgame players less irritated and possibly prevent them from quitting out of burnout? By introducing artifact trading between players. It doesn't even have t❀o be available at all times, simply adding then limiting it to post-Domain runs is enough.
🍨Genshin Impact's endgame revolves around a maddening artifact grinding gacha or roulette. Making the artifacts tradeable only after each Domain run can ad𒈔d another layer of need for co-op and make multiplayer in Genshin Impact more important; because what else is there to do in the current endgame other than play with others?
