The diverse boss battles you can engage in all through the map in the open-world, adventure RPG 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Genshin Impact are, undoubtedly, one of the game's main charms. The 4.0 patch update introduced a couple of new bosses with unique battle mechanics for you to experie🍬nce new challenges and loot.
With character ascension requiring a high count of materials that you can only procure through defeating some of these bosses, preparing before diving in is as good an idea as any. The pair of exquisite danܫcing Meka created by the Fontaine Research Institute, Coppeli🍷a and Coppelius, are not your average bosses, after all.
Where To Find Icewind Suite
The Icewind Suite exhibition is plainly visible in the overworld.
To find it you just need to head to the Court of Fontaine Region. Teleport to the Fountain of Lucine waypoint and head Northwest from there. The Meka dancers Coppelia and Coppelius will be in the outdoor theater structure at the edge of the walkway.
How To Choose The Challenge Type
You will not be able to engage the Meka dancers directly. To start a challenge, you will need to speak to Maillardet, an NPC standing at the top of the South staircase next to a . He is the researcherꩲ in charge of the Icewind Suite exhib🃏ition.
You will have the option to try one of two versions:
- Dirge of Coppelia: an Anemo boss challenge, also known as Icewind Suite Duality, Side A
- Nemesis of Coppelius: a Cryo boss challenge, also known as Icewind Suite Duality, Side B
The first time you speak with Maillardet, he will explain the purpose of the Icewind Suite challenge and invite you to help him gather combat data on the Meks. You will need to speak with him each subsequent time to be able to challenge the boss.
What Is Different In Each Icewind Suite Challenge?
When challenging these bosses you will quickly notice that both dancers will be present both of the options, and they will both attack you.
However, there will always be some fundamental differences that will depend on the challenge type:
- The main dancer of the challenge you choose will be the only one to take damage from any of your attacks.
- Each of the Meks has a 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:different Arkhe alignment.
- The combat patterns for each Mek will change depending on the challenge you choose.
- Each of the challenges will count with a performance climax, in which the boss of the challenge takes center stage.
-
There are different drops for each challenge, including the main component you will need to ascend characters:
- Challenging Coppelia will give you Artificed Spare Clockwork Component — Coppelia and Vayuda Turquoise stones.
- Challenging Coppelius will give you Artificed Spare Clockwork Component — Coppelius and Shivada Jade stones.
In both challenges Coppelia and Coppelius will remain Anemo and Cryo based, respectively, so it helps to be prepared to counter both of these elements, regardless of who you choose to fight.
How To Defeat Dirge Of Coppelia
Coppelia is the female Mek who relies on a fan she holds in one of her hands to deal Anemo damage. During this challenge she will be the protagonist, or the main dancer, and will thus be who you will need to focus your attacks on.
The battle against Coppelia prioritizes dexterity over brute force. She is also Ousia aligned, so a Pneuma aligned unit will help you handle some of her to𝕴ugher ꦜattacks more efficiently.
Ranged attacks will make it easier to defeat Coppelia, as she is constantly wrapping herself in Anemo whirlwinds that make it difficult to get close to her.
Coppelia and Coppelius Attack Patterns For Side A
As the star of Side A, Coppelia will often dance in the center of the floor. She will consistently defend herself with slashes of her fan and by deploying small Anemo whirlwinds around herself, but you will still be moving from the outside in throughout the fight.
In this version of the challenge Coppelius will skate close around her and in a big circle around the outer edge of the floor, delivering different kinds of AoE Cryo attacks.
Youꩲ will encounter the following moves in the Dirge of Coppelia challenge:
Attack |
Description |
---|---|
Double Spin |
The Meks spin on their axes, lifting their fan and cape in a coordinated, upward slash. This melee attack deals both Anemo and Cryo damage on hit. |
Stationary Lift |
Coppelius skates in a circle around Coppelia and lifts her up. He leaves a trail of icicles in his wake, which detonate and cause Cryo damage upon contact just a moment after. |
Glacial Flourish |
Coppelius lifts his cane and then taps it against the ground, unleashing a trail of Cryo spikes in a straight line outward that will deal Cryo damage on hit. |
Shard Spray |
Coppelius skates a quick circle around Coppelia, spinning his cane in his hand and launching small icicles in all directions that will deal Cryo damage on hit. |
Additional to these normal moves, Coppelia's Climax progresses as follows:
- When the Climax begins, Coppelia and Coppelius move to the center of the stage. Coppelia will summon three Whirlwinds of Dirge, which will slowly move in a clockwise direction and continuously suck characters toward them. It is possible for these whirlwinds to become infused with Cryo from Coppelius' attacks. If that happens, their damage capacity will significantly increase.
- As she becomes infused with Ousia, Coppelia will perform her dance. She will first strike forward twice with her fan and then unleash a pulse of wind. Shortly after, she will repeat this sequence, performing two slashes and releasing two pulses.
- Meanwhile, Coppelius will alternate between skating in a small circle around Coppelia and skating in a big ring along the outer edge. Every time he moves positions between Coppelia and the floor's outer edge, he will attack any characters in his path. He will also alternate between performing Glacial Flourish and launching Ice Blades towards the character.
The Climax can be interrupted if you strike Coppelia with Pneuma attacks three times in⛄ a row right after she become🗹s infused with Ousia.
How To Defeat Nemesis Of Coppelius
Coppelius is the male Mek who performs various motions with a cane to deal Cryo damage. He is the protagonist of the Side B challenge, so during this version he will be the only one to take any damage, despite the fact that Coppelia will still be on the floor performing attacks alongside him.
The battle against Coppelius prioritizes strength and endurance. Some of his moves even employ a shield, so you will need to focus on dealing a lot of damage rather than on dodging, as opposed to the fight with his counterpart. Coppelius is also 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Pneuma aligned, so Ousia units will be the most efficient to counter his shield.
Arkhe reactions can neutralize shielded enemies in an instant, but their shields are still vulnerable to elemental reactions.
Coppelia and Coppelius Attack Patterns For Side B
During Side B, Coppelius will be the one dancing in the center of the floor. He will maneuver with Coppelia. Unlike her, he will hardly cause any damage during the regular progression of the fight, as he will simply focus ꦦon performing the🌄 dance moves.
In this version of the challenge Coppelia will be launched upwards and deal different instances of Anemo damage upon landing, or coming into contact with characters as she twirls around.
You will encounter the following moves 🌊in the Nemesis of Coppe🌸lius challenge:
Attack |
Description |
---|---|
Double Spin |
The Meks spin on their axes, lifting their cape and fan in a coordinated, upward slash. This melee attack deals both Cryo and Anemo damage on hit. It opens up the performance on both versions. |
Death Spiral |
Coppelius holds Coppelia by her hand and quickly spins her around. She creates a strong ring of wind around him that deals Anemo damage on hit. |
Throw Jump |
Coppelius throws Coppelia up. As she lands, a few ways away from him and in the direction of the closest character, she deals AoE Anemo damage. She will return to Coppelius while twirling, dealing Anemo damage on hit to any characters nearby. |
Salchow Jump |
Coppelia shoots out three orbs with her fan, one in the direction of the character and two adjacent to the first, dealing Anemo damage on hit. |
The Climax for Coppelius' performance consists of the following moඣves:
- When the Climax begins, Coppelius and Coppelia will move to the center of the floor. Coppelius will summon three Retributive Frosthearts, which will remain static forming a triangle towards the outer edge of the floor, and will unleash Cryo blasts periodically.
- Coppelius dance consists of three swift sweeps of his cape, dealing Cryo damage on hit. Shortly after, he will gain a Cryo shield as he becomes infused with Pneuma energy. He performs a few swings of his crane as he skates in a small circle in the same area where he stands, dealing Cryo damage on hit.
- Meanwhile, Coppelia will spin and twirl in a large circle around the outer edge of the floor. She will deal different instances of Anemo damage when coming into contact with any character. Like Coppelius, she will deliver attacks with strong Wind Blades as she skates around the area before returning to Coppelius, a whirlwind surrounding her.
The Climax can be interrupted if you strike Coppelius' shield with Ousia attacks three times in a row. Each time, t✨he shield will immediately break on hit.
