He constantly wears an eyepatch, although he claims nothing is wrong with his eye and he has a sadistic nature about him. Unlike the rest of the Knights of Favonius, he is a pretty mischievous character who seems to have his own way of doing things. For fans of Kaeya, there is a lot of juicy info about the character contained in his in-game story and in the game's prequel manga, so we've added a few more.
12 Kaeya 🤡Had an Eyepatch in theꦏ Manga
Kaeya is one of the characters featured in the prequel manga to the game. In the manga, he was still wearing his eyepatch, ♑although he didn't seem to be showing his sadistic side as he was still in hiding. None of the char🐎acters talk about this, nor does he take the eyepatch off when he fights Diluc.
He was 💦told he was the last h﷽ope for Khaenri'ah, giving fans a theory that the eyepatch may be linked to his past.

One of the most surprising things that players learn about is that Kaeya is his little brother. The two don't get along, bu🧜t Kaeya was adopted by Diluc's dad after being left in front of the winery by his real dad. At one point, Dilu𝓡c and Kaeya were extremely close and acted like they were in sync.

Kaeya is said to be found in taverns more than he is at the Knights headquarters, where Jean and Amber do their work. Kaeya doesn't seem picky about which tavern he visits as long as it has💎 his favorite wine. He has been noted for both going to Cat's Tail along with his brother's bar.
Kaeya even mentions alcohol several time🐼s throughout his voice lines and story showing just how much he loves to drink.

Kaeya has a surprising story twist, as he wasꦫ actually a spy sent by a neighboring region to Mondstadt called Khaenri'ah. Kaeya's mission is still a bit shrouded in mystery, but it seems to point to the young boy being sent to 🐎sabotage the wine industry of the region so that the economy would suffer.
Kaeya was an amazing spy and only one person knows of his past, and th🗹at was by his own choosing.
4 On🧸ly Diluc Kno🐲ws The Truth
Di𒉰luc is the only other person in Mondstadt that knows of Kaeya's true origin. Tragically, Kaeya told Diluc, the truth on the same knight his father died, sending the two into a duel. On that night, Diluc not only lost his dad but also his brother, who had grown so close to him.
Kaeya has accepted his fate of keeping his secret to himself and now suppไorts Mondstadt in full.
3 He Hates Grape♌ Juice
Kaeya loves wine, but when it comes to the taste of grape juice, he can't understand how Diluc drinks it. Kaeya feels that great juice is one of the worst drinks e🥂ver created and would likely much rather see the grapes that went into the juice be used to make even more alcohol.
It's safe🥀 to say that he likely dislikes most fruity drinks that don't contain alcohol when going by his known tastes.
