Side quests in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Genshin Impact and help to bridge gaps in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the history of the different regions — gaps that aren't otherwise filled in by the main narrative of the game. This is true in places like Liy🅰ue, but it is 🌳also true elsewhere.
Just like in Liyue, the nation of Mondstadt is littered with ruins, alcoves, and monuments that each tell a story from a forgotten time. Here are a few side quests you can complete right now♔ to become a bona fide Mondsta♏dt historian.
10 Com🌳pleting: The Meaning Of Lupical 💙
Though not an "Archon Quest," this quest is impossible to miss since its direct🍸ly added to your missions once you complete Amber's side missions and 🔥reach rank 21.
Find Razor in the woods of Wolvendom, where you'll help him hunt. Later you'll tell Amber about the feral child you met and, conveniently, she'll also be on her way to investigate recent attacks by a dangerous wolf pack. After reuniting with Razor, and interviewing witnesses in Springvale, he'll insist that his wolves were not responsible for the attacks. Razor will ask you to help one of h♔is wolves mistakenly injured in the feud. As the villagers follow you into Wolvendom, Andrius intervenes to prevent further conflict. To test your trustworthiness and your might Andrius challenges you to a duel.
9 𒉰 What's Revealed: The Meaning ꦯOf Lupical
There are some small revelations that come directly from the text of this side quest, but the subtext reveals more still. Firstly, upon telling Razor that you belong to the Knights of Favonius he'll mention his friend, "the red, burny girl." Two Knights fit this description, Amber and Klee. Amber is surprised to meet the feral child, she had no idea that such people inhabited Wolvendom, therefore 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Razor's friend must be Klee. The Knights 🎃find Klee to be a handful, but the similarly free-spiri♏ted Razor encourages her antics.
The confrontation with Andrius reveals more about Mondstadt's ancient history, though not explicitly. The intimidating forest guarding you meet has actually softened in his feelings towards humans. As the "Decarabian's City" items' descriptions reveal, before the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:reign of Barbatos (aka Venti) the Anemo Archon Decarabian ruled over Mondstadt's tribal peoples, who were trapped in what is now Stormterror's Lair, shielded from Andrius's deadly blizzard by Decarabian's magic. When Barbatos rose to power Andrius saw how his might surpassed th𓂃at of his predecessor and he relented, releasing Mondstadt from his icy grasp. The bare trees and magical flurries that surround Andrius's arena are the lingering signs of his power that once render🍌ed the highlands totally uninhabitable to those outside of his pack.
8 Completing: Break The Sword Cemetery Seal𒊎
Travel to Dadaupa Gorge and find an NPC named Dr. Livingstone on the southeast bank of the lake there. Dr. Livingstone will tell you about the significance of the imposing Stonehenge-like monument behind her. The monument is called The Sword Cemetery, named for the abandoned swords planted in the ground within the magical barrꦅier.
To prevent the loo🍸ting of their comrades' remains the surviving warriors from an unknown conflict built a makeshift graveyard and magically sealed it. Monuments surrounding the cemetery allow you to unlock the seal, you just have to fight through the three surrounding hilichurl camps to access them.
7 Whಞat's Revealed: Break The Sword Cꦰemetery Seal
Any quest th𒁃at alludes to Khaenri'ah, Seelies, Eclipse hilichurls, and the abyss will have convoluted lore implications. Dr. Livingstone's dialogue here hints at her vague understanding of some of Mondstadt's arcane histories. Keep in mind that much of what's below is pieced together from fragments of lore that's yet to be entrenched in the plot, therefore it's specul🎐ation for now, and liable to change.
Little is known about the lost civilization of Khaenri'ah aside from the fac🌠t that it's the home of Kaeya, Albedo, Dainsleif and a malevolent alchemist named Gold. Gold either created or opened the spiral abyss and summoned the foul creatures that spew from it, bringing about the end of Khaenri'ah, which may only be accessible now through dreams, time travel, or by fighting through enough floors of the spiral abyss.
In ancient folklore, described in the Drunkard's Tale items, it's said that long ago a lone wolf roamed the wasteland that is now Mondstadt, until it happened upon ruins inhabited only by a mysterious songstress singing of the fall of her people and the first Seelie. Another entry in Drunkard's Tale tells of the first tribal human to discover wine and fall into a drunken sleep. He dreamt that he inhabited the body of a wolf 𝓀beyond the frozen wasteland of ancient Mondstadt.
The tutorial tips say that Seelies are a spiritual race — ghosts from an advanced civilization that used to exist beside humankind. Seelie statues outline the banks of the lake here, did the fallen warriors at the cemetery come from Khaenri'ah and become Seelies? Eclipse hilichurls are also said to be particularly friendly to abyss mages, and indeed abyss mages are f🎀ound in this quest. Did the Eclipse tribe and its mages seek out the cemetery knowing that Seelies would be guarding riches brought from Khaenri'ah? Finally, are the people of Mondstadt sಌo fond of wine because, once inebriated, they sees visions of the lost society that formerly bordered their own?
6 Completing: 🐈Regisvines
While most of your Regisvine encounters will occur outside of a given ques🌟t, i.e. while farming for ascension materials, you can still learn about Teyvat's history from encountering them in the wild and in the few quests in which they do appear.
Xiangling's "Cook Off🐎" quest has you find rare meats for a recipe. During your hunt you discover an extinct boar that was frozen by a Cryo Regisvine 300 years ago. This is significant because it's one of three (or four if spiral abyss challenge♚s are canon) times you find a Cryo Regisvine, while the Pyro Regisvine on the other hand is only found once (not including another abyss cameo).
5 What's Revealed: Regisvines ⛎
One achievement for defeating the Cryo Regisvine features the text "take that, you overgrown mist flower!" This suggests that the icy lotuses you find atꦕ the edge of ponds might one day grow into a Regisvine, with whopperflowers beingဣ the adolescent stage.
noted that while Cryo Regisvines in Mondstadt are not said to be fueled by an ancient rage sealed within, this is the case for t🃏he Pyro Regisvine in Liyue — they also point out that the Crimson Witch of Flames items refer to an ancient mage who ch🌱anneled fire to cast out demons. It's said that her remains will burn passionately for an eternity, are these flames and passions fueling the Pyro Regisvine?
4 Completing: A Land Entombed ꦐ
Start from the bookshelves behind an ice wall at the location shown above. Inspect the shelves to find a journal, then bring the journal to Stevens at the camp at the mountain's base. Next, head to the 👍large pond on the mountain's southwe⭕st side, light the Seelie statues and defeat a Ruin Grader to unlock a chest with the journal. The final journal is located in the cave lined with mysterious runes at the Entombed City - Ancient Palace.
3 What's Revealed: A Lan𝄹d Entombed ♋
Once all of these journals are brought to Stevens, he'll tell you that they represent a significant discovery for Mondstadt historians. Centuries ago, when Mondstadt w🌃꧂as run by feudal lords, an expedition was sent to chart Dragonspine but the explorers never returned. It's apparent that all but one explorer succumbed to the conditions on the mountain, what happened to the survivor, Eberhart, remains a mystery. gathered more evidence from in-game texts that suggests that the fate of the explorers was no accident, and Eberhart likely sought to murder his compatriots to become the sole heir in his noble house.
2 Completing: Bough Keeper Dainsleꦦif
"Side quest" is an understatement for this mission, as it advances the ongoing plot sꦑignificantly, but it does appear under the "world quest" category like other side quests. As of patch 1.3, after rank 36 you can interview some Mondstadt NPCs — starting with Katheryne — to hear about the mysterious eyepatch-wearing man who you eventually catch up with in Diluc's tavern. Dainsleif is enigm🍃atic and knowledgeable, he'll ask for your assistance with tracking an Abyss Herald through the Falcon's Temple, Wolvendom and Stormterror's Lair.
1 What's Revealed: Boug🍎h Keeper Dainsleif
Paimon's guess that "the eyepatch man" must be a relative of Kaeya's isn't far off base, as all clues currently point to 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Dainsleif coming from Kaeya𓆏's homeland Khaenri'ah.
Dainsleif's age remains unknown, however, since he recognizes Stormterror's Lair as thꦓe ruins of Old Mondstadt. It's unclear whether he knows of Decarabian's city through personal experience or through local legend, either way he is at least old enough to remember a time before Stormterror took up residence.
Dainsleif also mutters something at the Temple Of The Falcon about how the winged beast never truly soars but merely floats in the light of the gods. Does Dainsleif hol♛d some knowledge about Celestia? Is he alluding to the fact that Teyvat's archons and elemental spirits seem inferior to the vaunted gods in Celestia, and can't ascend themselves?
Finally, whenever Dainsleif picks up the scent of the Abyss Herald he also remembers something about his old traveling companion, and you find something that reminds you of your sister. Is Lumine Dainsleif's old friend who has now joined an opposing faction and the object o൩f your own personal quest all ဣat the same time?
