Genshin I🍬mpact:𓃲 Pro Tips For Playing As Neuvillette

These💫 tips will help you get the most out of Neuvillette in Genshin Impact.

You can have a team of up to four characters in the game, but there are seven elemenꦓts to choose from. Neu🥀villette's kit also incentivizes having variety in your team, and you'll deal less damage if you try to run a bunch of characters from the same element with him.

Best Neuvillette Carry Team

Genshin Impact Neuvillette Zhongli Kazuha Raiden

The most important thing you need to remember about Neuvillette is his Heir to the Ancient Sea's Authority passive. This increases his Charged Attack damage by up to 160 percent if you trigger three different Hydro reactions with him in the team. The stacks for ea⛦ch reaction count separately and last for 30 seconds.

Neuvillette has one of the few kits that include the Crystallize reaction with Geo in the description.

This five-star Hydro character performs the best when you can keep him on the field for a long time. Ideally, you'd want to have team members who can quickly use their abilities and stay off the field with him. Here's how all the characters mentioned above help with༒ that:

Apart from triggering the Hydro Crystallize reaction, Zhongli also reduces the surrounding enemies' RES to all types of attacks when his shield is active. Moreover, Neuvillette usually stays on quite a low health du♔e to his Charged Attack consuming his HP.

This makes Zhongli even better since the shield can protect him from getting eliminated.

Kaedehara Kazuha can increase the party's Elemental Type DMG for the element Swirled by his abilities. You can also use the Viridescent Venerer set on him to increase Neuvillette's Hydro💯 DMG even further.

Finally, Raiden Shogun doesn't directly buff Neuvillette in any way apart from providing him a stack from the Electro-Charged reaction. However, she can be used to get his Ultimate back much faster when you don't have any droplets left.

Her Skill's turret-type attack gets triggered whenever an enemy gets hit by any type of attack, which also works with Neuvillette.

If you want Neuvillette to get his Burst back even faster, you can also use the Favonius Lance on Zhongli.

Here's what the rotat🔴ion for this team should look like:

  • Start by using Neuvillette's Skill to create three droplets and apply Hydro to the enemies. These droplets stay on the ground for 15 seconds, so you don't have to worry about leaving the field for a bit.
  • Next, switch over to Kazuha and use his Elemental Skill and Burst to trigger Swirl and apply more Hydro on the enemies as his Burst gets the hits. After that, switch to Zhongli and use his Skill to apply Crystallize.
  • Finally, switch over to Raiden and quickly use her Skill before switching back to Neuvillette. You'll now have all the buffs that this team can provide including the enhanced Charged Attack DMG for the next 30 seconds. You can then constantly use his Skill, Burst, and Charged Attacks to defeat the enemies.

If you trigger all the Hydro elemental reactions properly in this team, your Neuvillette will easily be able to destroy the hardest content in the game.

Genshin Impact Neuvillette Fischl Layla Sucrose

Of course, the team above can seem a little too pay-to-win for newer players since the five-star characters get their reruns after quite a long time. If you don't have those characters, you can alw𒊎ays make a great team for Neuvillette with just four stars. This might deal a little less damage, but it'll still be more than enough.

Fischl and Sucrose will have the same role in the team as Raiden and Kazuha above respectively. However, Layla takes the place of Zhongli as the shielder of the team. She can trigger a Crᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚyo shield around your active character whenever her Skill is used and also deal a ton of Cryo DMG to the enemies with her Skill and Burst.

This is great for triggering the Frozen reaction on the enemy constantly. Not only does this keep refreshing one of Neuvillette's Charged Damage stacks, but it also prevents an enemy from moving if they're not a boss.

Once again, you can use Favonius weapons on any of these team members to increase Neuvillette's Burst uptime.

This is quไite important in this composition 🌃since you won't have the extra Energy from Raiden's Burst.

Reaction-Based Neuvillette Team

Genshin Impact Neuvillette Nahida Yae Miko Xiangling
  • Flex Spot

You'll see the most damage from Neuvillette if you use him in a team with multiple buffers. However, that's not as important when you're trying to clear harder content like the Spiral Abyss. The endgame content in Genshin Impact puts a heavy focus on reaction-based damage, and🧜 that's what this team is for.

Multiple Dendro reactions were released alongside Sumeru in the Version 3.0 update, but Hyperbloom came out as one of the best ones. This reaction triggers when you first apply Hydro to an opponent with Dendro on them to create a Dendro Core, and then ဣapply Electro to the c🃏ore on the ground.

When that happens, the core becomes a projectile that hits a single enemy and deals extra damage.

This team will use the Hyperbloom reaction to an extent, but it can also trigger Aggravate or Spread at times. Nahida can constantly apply Dendro to an enemy with her Skill, especially when you activate her Burst since it decreases the du🔯ration between each application because of Yae Miko's element.

The last spot on this team is flexible, and you have a few ways to fill it. You can use a Pyro character like Xiangling here to trigger the Vaporize reaction sometimes and also get the Pyro effect from Nahida's Burst. You can also use an Anemo crowd-controlling character lꦯike Vent𓆉i to group enemies up.

Using an Anemo or Geo character also reduces the chances of your Hyperbloom reaction getting messed up.

Here's what the rotation for thi✅s team should l𒅌ook like:

  • Start by using Nahida's Skill to apply the mark on all enemies since it lasts for the longest time out of every other Skill in the team. You can also use her Burst here if it's ready.
  • Switch over to Neuvillette and use his Elemental Skill to trigger the Bloom reaction and create multiple Dendro Cores based on the number of enemies present.
  • Now, switch to Yae Miko and use her Skill three times to place the kitsune on the field. This will readily attack enemies and apply Electro on them. It also triggers Hyperbloom if there are any Dendro Cores in the attack's AoE.
  • Finally, switch over to Neuvillette and constantly use his Skill, Burst, and Charged Attacks to apply as much Hydro as possible. It's important to have a good uptime on his Burst here so that you can use more Charged Attacks in a short period.

Your rotation will change a little depending on the character you use on the flex spot.

You can also consider using a shielder as the fourth m🅺ember of the team t🦋o protect Neuvillette.

Double Hydro DPS Team

Genshin Impact Neuvillette Furina Xianyun Xiangling

When Neuvillette was first released in Genshin Impact, he couldn't be played alongside Furina since she wasn't in the game just yet, which was quite a bummer given their relationship in the main story. However, this is now possible with arguably one of the strongest teams for this character given the amount of damage you'll see.

This team consists of three DPS units in the form of Neuvillette, Furina, and Xiangling. On the other hand, Xianyun's main purpose is to keep the team in good health by countering Furina's team-wide HP drain with her team-wide healing. She can also give you some Plunge 🌠Attack DMG bonus if you've finished your rotation.

Ideally, you wouldn't necessarily get to use these Plunge Attacks in the team, but it's a good plan B if you need just a⭕ bit more damage to defeat an enemy.

Here's what the rotation fo꧙r this team will look like:

  • Start by using Furina's Elemental Skill and Burst since it lasts for quite a long time and you can start stacking the DMG bonus from her Burst early on.
  • Switch over to Xianyun to use her Skill and Burst followed by Xiangling. This will start healing your entire team from Furina's drain while also applying some off-field Pyro element.
  • Finally, switch over to Neuvillette and use his Skill and Burst followed by the Charged Attacks.

You can easily run into Energy problems for Xianyun or Xiangling with this team, but it's not something a Favonius weapon on either of them can't resolve.
