Genshin Impact players are so upset about the game's anniversary rewards that they are review bombing other games.

Genshin Impact celebrated its first anniversary this week, although the use of the word celebrated here might be a bit of a stretch for a number of reasons. The in-game rewards from Mihoyo ♑have been deemed not good enough by the Genshin co💟mmunity, and the backlash across pretty much 🌺every platform imaginable has been non-stop.

Twitter has been flooded with complaints, its two Discord servers have pretty much come to a standstill, and, of course, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Genshin is getting review bombed. It has dropped from 4.5 stars on Google Play to a little less than three stars at the time of typing this. In fact, angry Genshin fans are so frustrated that they are now review bombing over games, some of which aren't even connected to Mihoyo at all.

Not just Honkai Impact 3rd, another Mihoyo game that has been suffering for Genshin's lackluster anniversary rewards, but also Fate/Grand Order. The one-star reviews it has been receiving, some of which you can check out below, mention Genshin by name. Again, Fate/Grand Order is not connected to Genshin or Mihoyo in any way. Its only connection is that it is also a free-to-play mobile game.

According to , Fate/Grand Order isn't the only game not connected to Genshin that has had angry players popping up in its reviews. Clash of Clans, Cookie Run, and League Of Legends: Wild Rift have also been dragged into this, among others. While some have received negative reviews, a few of the responses have been positive stars-wise with negative comments about Genshin attached. At least that sort of makes sense.

There have been more major video game anniversaries in 2021 than you can shake a stick at. The reaction to what has been deemed a substandard celebration by Genshin players might be the biggest so far, but it certainly isn't the first. Zelda fans are still waiting for something more than a Skyward Sword remake 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:to mark the 35th anniversary of the series' first game. Meanwhile, Pokemon fans continue to be showered with an embarrassment of riches as the franchise's 25th birthday rolls on.
