Mihoyo has confirmed that Barbara and Jean’s summer skins will be available as premium purchases, while one can also be ga൲ined by completing certain tasks and quests coming as part of the new update. So it’s halfway there, but as far as I’m aware, you’ll need to already have the characters in your party to actually make use of the new cosmetic. If you don’t, it will simply stew in your inventory until the gacha system deems you worthy. I have Barbaras for days, but Jean has eluded me thus far, and she’s also not a part of any🔴 current banners in the game right now. So I’m screwed, unless bundles were introduced that include the characters, a worthwhile cosmetic, and a few other bonuses to tempt us to part with our hard-earned money.

I’d love for Genshin Impact to take some advice from Apex Legends, packaging some of its most beloved characters into bespoke bundles for £15-20 that provide us w෴ith another way of earning them. I’d certainly bite, and if Mihoyo decided to introduce a new bundle with each major update, 🎶it could almost make them into a major event, showcasing a gorgeous new skin that’s locked behind a paywall alongside a few other worthwhile bonuses. You don’t need to bite, but those that do will certainly enjoy the taste.
Genshin Impact is growing in ambition with each new update as player housing, controllable vehicles, and new regions slowly but surely expand upon the world of Teyvat. So, why not address the outer workings to reflect this progress, showing your audience that the game is willing to adapt and offer tantalising new opportunities instead of stringently abiding by the same tired ideas. I’ll be crossing my fingers, and don’t expect suc⛄h changes to come about, but you never know.
