The Super Smash Bros. Ultimate fans around the world who were waiting for the final character in the♎ Fighters Pass to be rev🐟ealed during were left disappointed, and producer Geoff Keighley has finally weighed in on the lack of announcements regarding the game.

Ultimate was promised to have five DLC characters who could be bought collectively as part of the Fighters Pass or individually upon their release. All of the🌳 characters were supposed to be released starting from 2019 and running until February 2020.

The first character in the Fighters Pass was Joker from Persona 5 and he was announced during last year's Game Awards event, which happened on the same day that Super Smash Bros. Ultimate was released. The fans expected the final Fighters Pass character to be revealed during the 2019 Game Awards, as it's due to be released in a few months and it would act as a fitting bookend to the Joker announcement from the previous year. There were no Super Smash Bros. Ultimate announcements made during The Game Awards, despite the fact that it was no🌊minated in several categories, and Game Awards host Geoff Keighley was asked about the lack of DLC reveals on Twitter.

It seems that Nintendo wasn'🌱t interested in announcing the last Fighters Pass character on Th🦩e Game Awards, despite the fact that fans all over the world were watching the show. It's possible that Nintendo is saving the reveal for an upcoming Direct in January, as the company still needs to announce more games for the 2020 release schedule, which is currently looking pretty bare for the Nintendo Switch.

There have been numerous fake leaks regarding the announcement of a DLC character for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, with both Gordon Freeman from Half-Life and Master Chief from the Halo series being leaked over the past month, both of which were supposed to be revealed at The Game Awards. It would have been fitting to reveal the last Fighters Pass character at The Game Awards, but it ♏was not meant to be.

The final character in the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Fighters Pass is expected to launc🉐h by February 2020.
