When 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Ghost of Tsushima's State of Play aired last week, players were🐼 given a taste of what combat will feel and play like once the entire game comes out. Despite the presenter countering, parrying, and killing some of the enemies without any issues, it seemed that a single mistake would cost him his life, and that's because the combat is far more brutal than originally thought.

The information about Ghost of Tsushima's punishing combat comes from an interview with game director Nate Fox. According to Fox, the playable character may find himself defeated after only a couple of strikes from an enemy’s weapon, as opposed to being able to take a number of hits and still survive. "We have three words to describe the combat: Mud, blood and steel," Fox told IGN. "We absolutely honor the lethality of the sword." In other words, a sword's purposeꦐ is to be as realistic as possible, and that aims to be proven in the game's combat. Killing or getting killed after one or three hits is f⭕ar more realistic than over ten.

Another reason for making the combat so brutal and challenging is because of samurai cinema. Since the development team was inspired by samurai movies while making Ghost of Tsushima, they wanted to replicate the combat as much as possible. "We watched samurai movies and people go down with one o🍬r two strikes, and꧅ that is embedded inside of the combat," said the game director. As such, rushing into a group of enemies and expecting to survive will be difficult because players will get overwhelmed and die very quickly.

The game's difficult combat ties in with the whole 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:stance mechanic. As explained by Ghost of Tsushima's creative director Jason Connell in another interview, the use of different sword stances will play a big role in Ghost of Tsushima's combat. Players will need to learn each stance and see which one will be most effective when fighting certain types of enemies. For example, using a stance that c🅷ounters shields will prove to be far more effective, and considering how punis♈hing the overall combat will be, not using that correct stance can be a difference between life and death.

Ghost of Tsushima will release exclusively for PS4 on July 17.
