How To Unlock New Stances

The method of unlocking stances in Ghost of Tsushima is the same for all stances in the game💜, with the exception of the final stance we'll get to at the end. For all others, learning a new stance comes down to two factors: observation and combat. Mongol leaders wreaking havoc across the island's camps and strongholds, or found through side and story missions, can be spied on while practicing. If close enough, you'll be given the prompt to observe the leader to progress toward learning that stance.

Killing Mongol leaders is the second way to contribute to learning new st🦩ances, and can be done after observing a leader to double up on progress. This method needs little explanation. Find a leader, observe the🤡m beforehand if you like, and then take them down.

How To Unlock Stone Stance

As previously mentioned, Stone Stance is available right from the start of Ghost of Tsushima. This stance is best used against opponents wielding swords, which many bosses use. That makes this stance particularly important to get familiar with. One of the most powerful moves you'll want to invest in for the Stancಞe Stance is done w꧃ith a simple three taps of the triangle attack. This move is perfect for dealing a ton of damage to staggered foes, or as an interrupt on larger attacks.

The first new stance you will unlock through observing and killing Mongol leaders is the Water Stance. This is your answer to enemies who block your attacks with shields. Once you've unlocked it, you can switch to this stance by holding R2 and hitting circle. Just like Stone Stance, three consecutive triangle attacks, called the Shield Breaker, is one of this stance's best, though this stance requires a bit 🎶more technique. Rather than mashing triangle, this move only comes out with a slight delay between the second and final hit. If you manage to land that attack, they'll be open to whatever attacks you 🐈want to throw at them.

Requiring even more Mongol Leaders to be observed and slain, the Wind Stance is very valuable to get early so you can counter spear wielding enemies. The heavy attack is one of the best for dealing stagger damage, and if you hold the ꦦattack Jin will perform a kick to create space, or send them off a ledge if positioned right.

The final stance unlocked through normal means is the Moon Stance, and isn't as necessary to get early on as the others. That's good because it will take a large number of Mongol Leaders to finally unlock. What♕ this stance is best for is countering perhaps the game's most irritating enemy type, the Brutes. This stance turns your triangle moves into a combo of kicks that quickly build up stagger. Be aware that Brutes are not stunned during the process, though, and you'll need to be quick on the dodges and parries to stay safe. If you find yourself surrounded, holding triangle will see Jin do his best Link impression and twirl his sword around in a full circle.

The final stance in the game is somewhat of a secret stance since it isn't listed in Jin's upgrades, and isn't one you can freely switch to like the others. When you're around halfway through the game's second act you'll go through the 'Ghost of Yarikawa' tale that concludes with a boss fight. This stance will open up during the fight wh👍en all the color drains from the world. After this first event, the only way to enter Ghost Stance again is to kill seven enemies without taking any dama💮ge to charge a new meter. Once filled, you enter Ghost Stance by hitting L3 and R3 simultaneously. Once activated, Jin becomes a killing machine, taking down any foe with a single attack and sending others cowering in fear.

This stance can be saved for whenever you think you'll need it most, but you do need to be cautious. If Jin takes damage at any point, even if you've already fi🍎lled the meter, you it will drain completely and you will have to build it up again from nothing. Second is that you may be tempted to save this stance for duels, but it won't work on any major boss battles. And even on the duels it does work on, the stance won't outright kill y🌳our opponent in one hit like it would a normal enemy. It does do a ton of damage, so is still worth saving if you know there's a duel coming at the end of clearing an outpost for example.

And those are all the stances Jin can master in Ghost of Tsushima. Mastering them all will take time, but the reward of seeing Jin effortlessly cut his way through the Mongol forces is certainly 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:worth the investment.
