The trailer revealed that Atsu will go on a journey of revenge against The Yotei Six. We also got a look at some gameplay, involving the open world, new features, and, most importantly, the combat. Atsu will be wielding more than just a katana, using a spear, dual swords, a kusigara, guns, and even wildlife ﷺto combat her📖 enemies. However, it seems the devs have also put in a lot of work into the new setting of Hokk🍒aido.

Hokkaido Will Be More Detailed And Open Than Tsushima

In a conversation with , co-creative directors Jason Connell and Nate Fox discussed the new setting, how players will explore it, and why it was chosen for Ghost of Yotei. Tsushima island became very popular among fans, so much so that 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:it saw a tourism boom after the game launched. Connell and Fox w𒁏ill be hoping the same happens with Hokkaido.

"This is the most open game we’ve ever made," said Fox. "One of the greatest joys is just gett🦩ing lost. You let your curiosity guide you through the landscape. We view that as this holy moment that we want to uplift for players so that they can feel very present inside of Hokkaido, or Ezo, as it was called back when our game takes place. Ezo is a character in and of itself that’s filled with hidden secrets and an anthology of stories."

The team wants to show a d🌜ifferent side of Japan, and, considering that it's set 329 years after Ghost of Tsushima, a lot will be different in terms of socio-political issues, technology, and even local flora and fauna.

"It’s just so wild and nature-filled," added Connell. "There’s an opportunity to tell a slightly more wild and rural version of this story than if it was in a major city. There’s so many biomes to bring to life and so many majestic and be🐎autiful locations to take inspiration from. There’s no way we could take it all, so we get to cherry pick some of the most beautiful locations and bring them alive to our players.
