However, the big question is why Venkman had Nameless. This is never answered or addressed, but it's odd that Venkman would be busting on his own and facing off against a powerful spirit.
7 Nameless Renders Ray's Expertise Useless
You could argue that Ray is the most important asset to the Ghostbusting team. Ever since his first appearance, it's clear that he's knowledgeable about all realms of the occult. He's able to identify all sorts of spirits while also determining ways to deal with them. However, as soon as Nameless is on the scene, Ray becomes a spectator.
It's obvious this is meant to raise the threat level of this particular spirit, but this is literally the only major plot event in the whole game. That being said, it seems nonsensical to have the occult genius and experienced Ghostbuster be completely useless during this event.
6 The Rules Of Ghꦜost Telekinesis
Ghos🦂ts have a wide myriad of powers, and the general rule is that they have whatever powers are deemed necessary to the challenge or plot. This is perfectly fine in making varied gꦿameplay and giving each ghost more individuality, but one thing they all possess is a form of telekinesis. Each ghost has the ability to haunt objects which makes them float around randomly.
Despite this, there's only one ghost that has an ability that's specifically called 'Telekinesis.' Based on what's shown, it would stand to reason that all ghosts possess this ability, but for some reason, only one of them can use it to actually throw things.
5 Slimer's Ambiguous Morality
Ever since he appeared in the first movie, Slimer was sort of seen as the unofficial mascot of the Ghostbusters. He's somewhat of an ally in the second film and literally lives with the Ghostbusters in the animated series. Now Slimer is back as an unlockable variant 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:of the Ectoplast, the goofiest-looking ghost on the roster.
However, he's back to being a full-on enemy of the team and is deliberately focused on haunting and scaring people rather than stuffing his face. Although the flavor text touches on his ambiguity, it doesn't change the fact that his flip-flopping creates confusion.

Possession is a very real concern in the Ghostbusters world, and it has happened more than once. In terms of gameplay, it would be quite an overpowered ability which is why only one ghost is able to do it. Even so, the busters themselves are immune to being possessed, and it's never explained. What's weird is that Winston gets possessed by Nameless during the story creating more questions.
Considering all the things that the Ghostbusters have gone through and Ray's occult expertise, why don't all the staff members wear something that prevents possession? They don't, but for some reason, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:these new busters can't be possessed.

Of all the made-up literature that's ever appeared in media, Tobin's Spirit Guide is one of the most well-known and interesting. However, despite its importance, Tobin is never really talked about.
Yet, that didn't stop the game from introducing him as an NPC that lives in the original copy of his book. Who gave him such authority over the spiritual world, and what does he have to gain? No one knows.

Even though ghosts could be seen as incredibly dangerous pests, the busters never seem to convey that to the public. Every time you visit a haunted location, people are just wandering around, and ghosts will gladly try to scare them.

This is very strange since it would make way more sense to just tell people to leave. They don't even have to tell them it's because of ghosts; they could make something up.
