Purveyors of retro FPS titles, both games fill different niches within the genre that should appease fans of Thief and Devil May Cry alike.
I got a chance to play demos for both of them and I'm very impressed. We don't have the exact word on whether or not these games will be available through early-access, but that model has done well for New Blood. Both DUSK and Amid Evil utilized a similar structure and have gone on to become smash hits. DUSK, 🃏♑in fact, is still the highest score I've ever given to a video game.
New Blood also has Maximum Action in the making, which has adopted a similar early-access style. With periodic updates that bring massive content additions, I would expect both Gloomwood and Ultrakill to follow suit. There's no r𓃲eason to stop🤡 doing what works, after all.
From what I've played, you don't need to think twice about grabbing either game. Just go to one of the numerous websites that New Blood has () and watch a trailer. There's bound to be something you like about these games, even if FPS titles aren't your bag. Now, excuse me while I go and rack up some more combos🅰.
