When it comes to beautiful, functional, and affordable PC gear, it's hard to beat Glorious PC Gaming Race. Inspired by a popular subreddit, Glorious has been making elite products since 2014. The company has a penchant for coming up ღwith wild, RGB-focused designs that are right at home on any gamer's desk. And the is no exception. Any serious competitor looking for an affordable gaming mouse needs to give consideration to this rainbowed masterpiece.
A Gamer's Dream Design
The Model O is offered in two colors (black and white) and two finishes (glossy and matte).💯 There's no wireless version available, but the mouse's wire is made of a propriety material called Ascended Cord. It almost looks like a very thin shoelace and is nearly weightless, making it easy to forget it's ꩲeven there.
The mouse body features a wild honeycomb design that not only cuts down on the mouse's overall weight — but looks cool doing it. The Model O is billed as the world's lightest RGB gaming mouse, clocking in at anꦡ airy 67 grams. That might just sound like another number on a stat sheet, but it truly does feel weightless during gameplay and glides around with ease.
There's no curvature to the Model O, making it ideal for both left and right-handed gamers. However, there are two buttons on the left side of the mouse, which may be tricky (or impossible) to press if you're using your left hand. A dpi butto🦩n is located on top of the💯 mouse, letting you adjust your settings without fumbling through a bunch of software.
A wide range of 𝕴programmable RGB lights are also built-in to the device. There are dozens of ways to customize their pattern, a♎ll of which can be done by holding down different buttons on the mouse.
Aꦐs far as design goes, the Model O is a thing of beauty. If you're looking foཧr something muted and understated you might not appreciate the honeycombs and lights, but this is a gaming mouse — flashing lights are par for the course.
A Lightweight Mouse That Packs A Punch
Underneath all those flashing lights, however, lie a bunch of top-tier components that make the Model O a joy to use. If you're a true pc gaming nerd, you'll appreciate the Pixart 3360 Senor, the massive PTFE feet, the Omron Mechanical Switches rated for 20 million clicks, and a p🌱olling rate of 1000hz. In other words, this thing is packing serious firepower. Full specs can be found on .
Weightless Performance
We've tested the Model O extensively, across a wide variety of games, and found that it truly is an esports-ready mouse. Its ridiculously low latency, ergonomic design, and quickly adjustable dpi settings make it well-suited for just aboutܫ all situations. If your hands lean towards the smaller side of the spectrum, , a smaller version of the Model O.
Surprisingly, we haven't run i💜nto any issues with the mouse's cord. Often, wired mice can impact your aim by restricting the mouse's movement. That's not the case with the Model O, as its lightweight Ascended Cord remains a non-factor even during tense firefights.
Verdict
The Model O is the ideal upgrade for people looking for a true gaming mouse. It's esports ready, hi💧ghly cus🥀tomizable, and starts at a respectable $49.99. We're also a big fan of the honeycomb design and programmable RGB lights, which let you change the mouse's appearance at the press of a button. It's unfortunate that a wireless variant isn't offered, but that's a minor trade-off for the impressive performance you'll receive in return.
