More come their way as Denis "denis" How𓂃ell is placed on the bench, while Owen "smooya" Butterfield and Johannes "nex" Maget will be returning to the ꦉactive lineup. Most of these changes are set to take immediate effect, though Nikola "LEGIJA" Ninić will play as a stand-in until Maget fully recovers from a previous injury.

Fatih "gob b" Dayik has played on multiple German and mixed nationality lineups over the years, including a brief stint in North America. Dayik is often credited as the father of German Counter-Strike, being the one to lead the country's skill into global relevance. Dayik has played under the BIG Clan banner since the organization was founded i🦄n 2017, leading ✤them to two Major play-off appearances, once at PGL Krakow in 2017 and again at FACEIT London in 2018. The team also made an unlikely run to the grand final of ESL One Cologne 2018, where they competed on home soil as a majority German team. Gob b is widely considered to be one of the more tactically proficient in-game leaders, and now looks to take that knowledge into a managerial position within BIG Clan. Dayik is also known for molding young talents, most notably having done so with British AWPer Owen "smooya" Butterfield throughout 2018.

Owen "smooya" Butterfield originally joined BIG Clan in April of 2018 as an unproven talent from a region not known for producing CS:GO stars. Butterfield quickly proved himself as a skillful sniper, though internal strife within the team caused him to leave the roster shortly before the IEM Katowice Major earlier this yea🃏r. Butterfield has about this decision, saying that leaving them was a mi🦩stake. The English AWPer will now get the chance to play with the team again, along with former teammate Johannes "nex" Maget, who has been removed from the team a number of times due to recurring issues with a wrist injury. Maget will not be joining the team straight away, however, as his recovery is still in progress. BIG will instead field former player Nikola "LEGIJA" Ninić until Maget is cleared for play. The team is participating in the GG.BET ESL One New York Invitational, which is set to begin tomorrow.

BIG has strug🏅gled to field a stable roster for months now, causing the team to fall by the wayside. Previous successes have not been recreated, especially after being eliminated from the IEM Katowice Major and being sent back to the European Minor circuit for the StarLadder Berlin Major cycle. The EU Minor is now concluded, and the team failed to qualify for the Major, meaning they will miss out on the event taking place in their home town. These shortcomings ha😼ve prompted the team into making these changes, though only time will tell if this is the roster to bring BIG back into international relevance.
