For that reason, it'll just be PS exclusives, Xbox exclusives, and cross-platform games I'm discussing. And because Xbox took a lot of swings but missed them all last gen, we're just talking about PS and cross-plat.

Ghost of Tsushima on the other hand was praised for its gorgeous visuals, but hated by critics (83 on Metacritic, so not really) because it wasn't woke enough. I thought it was a fun if repetitive open-world game, but mostly fine.
In TLOU2 and GoT, there were clear battlelines. Do you like how games used to be, when they were just about playing and never revolved around politics, instead keeping to simple, non-woke storylines about how military inv꧋asion upends and eradicates existing cultures, while defending that culture will only be💙get more violence and hasten your own demise as you turn against your culture to fight for it? Or do you like woke stories about lesbians and zombies? Take your pick, you are not allowed to like both.
No other games had such clear 'opposites', but... sorry, I can't even do it as satire anymore. I will never get over how fucking stupid it was that TLOU2 and GoT somehow became defined as polar opposites of each other when they both 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:broadly follow t🃏he same Sony des✤ign conventions, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:both narratively and visually. Anyway, no other game has an 'enemy', but all the other big hits seem to have some fatal flaw that can be held up against them in any kind of debate - and in console wars and pissing contests, what you think or even what is true doesn't really matter. All that matters is the narrative.

Much like Horizon, Uncharted 4 has been revaluated since launch and been met with criticism for the crime of playing like a 2016 game despite launching in, um, 2016, and indies never really have a chance up against the marketing budget of the triple-A scene. No online game is allowed to exist without a sizable portion of gamers thinking it's trash - many of whom have 500 hours in said trash heap - so they're out as well. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The Witcher 3 is a credible candidate, but there is some gatekeeping over the fact it's the third in the series. Despite God of War (2018) not being the first, it's such a hard reboot and change in theme and tone that it feels new - yet so consistent with our ideas of what God of War is that it feels like a natural continuation too.
It's genius. PC players experiencing it for the first time, I hope you're enjoying it. It's a modern miracle - everyone wants you to enjoy it.
