Raijin is a god of thunder in Japanese mythology, one who has a dichotomous relationship with the mortals that worship him. There is a more destructive side to his power, though, and he often brings wreck and ruin to the land.

Jason grows up in the care of the centaur Chiron and is sent on a quest for the Golden Fleece, an impossible task that he succeeds in accomplishing alongside his companions - the Argonauts. He is shown to be a powerful and resourceful warrior, one who would undoubtedly fight to the bitter end against Kratos. It's a shame the two never got to clash during the game series.

While he begins life simply as a strong young man, he grows into a fearsome warrior on the battlefield who defends the province of Ulster from the armies of Queen Méibh single-handedly.

Anubis is often shown weighing the hearts of the dead with golden scales to judge if they are worthy to enter the afterlife, and he is closely related to the embalming of corpses and the tombs of the dead.
