Atreus is summoned to Ironwood in what seems like a dream sequence. There, he meets Angrboda💞, a giant who reveals the fate drawn out for him by his𒈔 people. He also learns that the Giants were not all killed by the Aesir gods. Many of them went into hiding by putting their souls into little spheres.
Angrboda guards th♒ese and waits to fulfill her foretold destiny by giving the bag with the spheres to Atreus. The two put one of the souls into a snake. They are disappointed and puzzled by tꦬhe ceremony, but their remark that the snake starts to grow tells us that the snake eventually becomes Jormungandr, the world serpent.
4 The Norns Reveal That Prophecy Is Not Defin𝓀ite 💧
Kratos, Freya, and Mimir visit the Norns to learn more about their futures. He is warned that the meeting will not be as satisfying as he hopes. This turns out to 💛be entirely true. When they find the Norns, they mock the three of them and playfuღlly repeat everything they say.
The women do reveal one important tidbit, however. The fate painted by the giants is not actually destined to come true. It is simply what is most likely going to happen because people are so predictable. Kratos, no matter how hard he tries, al♔ways ends up killing the gods. As upsetting as this is, it does reveal to Kratos that he can change what is supposedly destined to happen.
3 🐈 𓂃 Kratos Makes Peace With The Aesir
Odin clears up some confu♚sion for Atreus by stating that not everyone within Asgard i🔴s a god. In fact, the people there are normal human beings and worship Odin as they see him as a benevolent god who has been saving them from Thimblewinter.
During the events of Rꦺagnarok, they come to realize that Odin 🐼used them as fodder, placing them right in front of the wall, so they take the brunt of any potential attack. Kratos and the other gods work to ensure their safety, and after beating Odin, they are shown to be alive and well mostly. This includes Thrud and Sif, who was especially disdainful toward Atreus.
2 Why Odin Wants Atreus's Help
