There are also the Ares and Zeus armor sets to look out for with this update, with the Ares one favouring those who like to Rage, while the Zeus Armor supposedly enables "the ultimate risk-reward playstyle". The Zeu♊s set greatly boosts your Melee and Runic damage, but also means Kratos can be taken down with just a single hit. The armor♔ is tough to even acquire since players will have to defeat Gna the Valkyrie Queen and complete certain Remnants of Asgard in NG+. Meanwhile, for those who just love to parry, there is the new Spartan Aspis shield, which has a "significantly tighter parry window" but will yield much greater damage in return.
In NG+, Kratos and enemies all become more powerful with an increased level cap so that Level 9 equipment will now have the ability to progress further, too. Converting equipment will also yield a Gilded Coin that can be used to acquire one of the new Enchantments from the shop.
