Kratos faces a lot of trials and challenges in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:God Of War, but one that’s driving many players batty is finding the elusive Anchors of Fog in the mysterious . These devices are incredibly important for comไpleting the three Realm Tears challenge in Nifleheim and netting valuable rewards.
If you find yourself having trouble locating these ancient devices, wonder why you’re looking for them in the first place, or wondering if it’s wor🐟th the effort then here are some things to keep in m꧑ind. The short answer is that they’re worth it and the unfortunate answer to finding them is that it’ll take some grinding.
10 ꧑ What Is An Anchor Fog? ℱ
On the off chance you aren’t sure what an Anchor Fog is because yಌou haven’t gotten that far enough in the game and you’re looking ahead or you just need a refresher, an Anchor Fog is a device used to open and c𝐆lose Realm Tears in the realm of Vivaldi.
As you should know by now Realm Tears ar♓e small portals to other realms that contain powerful opponents and valuable items. These Tears will appear throughout the game without little effort on your part, but in Vivaldi you need Anchor Fogs to access these Tears and then close them forever.
9 Completionis🔯t
𝓰Finding the Anchor Fogs is necessary to complete the Darkness and Fog trophy. This trophy involves retrieving all the treasures from the Workshop’s center chamber, inside this chamber are a number of chests and the three Realm Tears that can only be closed with the Anchor Fogs.
Basically if yo💯u want to 100% complete this game you need to find🅺 three Anchor Fogs to close the three Realm Tears.
8 The Rewards ꦬ ᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚ
If a 100% run or getting the Darkness and Fog trophy isn’t important to you, then you should still make finding Anchor Fogs a h♓igh priority as the Realm Tears they control the gateway to great rewards and powerful items in addition to sealing them forever.
One Tear will get you the Gift of the Apollo, a Blades of Chaos rune that gives Kratos health for each attack which is incredibly useful against Sigrun. The second Tear grants the Talisman of Cursed Power that creates a wave of Cursed Mist to lower opponents' stats. The final Tear contains the Mistbourne Axe Pommel which is awesome on the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Leviathan Axe as it has a chan♔ce of triggering an ability that regenerates health and Runic. Alꦺl Tears will grant a good chunk of Mist of Echoes as well.
7 ꦍ Surviving The Mist
The realm of Niflheim is populated with a poisonous mist that once entered will rapidly poison Kra☂tos. This is represented by a pink bar that depletes while in the mist, once this is gone your ch🅷aracter will experience dramatic health drain.
Finding the Anchor Fogs is going to take some time and much of it’ll be spent in the mist. So before you do anything make it a priority to obtain an Ivaldi set of armor from Sindri to improve your resistances to the deadly mist and give yourself more 🅺breathing room, in this cas💜e distance, to find what you’re looking for.
6 ⛦ The Importance Of Mist Echoes ꧅
Mist Echoes are the key, literally and figuratively, to finding the Anchor Fogs. They’re used to unlock the 🌟Center Chamber, build and upgrade a set of Mist resistant armor, and give you access to other important items.
While you should always keep an eye out for Anchor Fogs, you should initially focus on grinding a healthy supply of mist echoes to fund the items needed to help you find them as well as unlocking those ches𒀰ts in the Center Chamber. Once you have a full set of upgraded Ivaldi armor you can focus on hunting Anchor Fogs.
5 Key Areas
The entire maze can be seen as a baseball field. The entrance leading to Area D is home plate, the Center Chamber is the pitcher’s mound, Area C, B, and A are 1st base, 2nd base, and 3rd base respectively. Area Y is right field and Area X where the Valkyrie app꧂ears, is left field. These last two are whereಞ you will find your Anchor Fogs.
Given they’re at the far end of the maze iꩲt’ll take some time to geওt there so you don’t want to get too distracted in the other areas.
4 Clear The Rooms 🔴
Don’t make the mistake of blitzing straight to those two areas though, Anchor Fog spawning is tied in some way to clearing out the enemies on the way to Area X or Y. So run🐽nin🌠g past everyone isn’t a great strategy.
If you’re targeting X than make sure to clean out Area A and the chambers in between. If you’re shooting for Y be sure to clear out C and those chambers. Ideally ﷽you’ll clean out the entire labyrinth each time, but this will depend on the gear you have, your build, and 𝐆skills as a player
3 Rarer Is Better 🦩
Considering the Anchor Fogs will randomly spawn within chests its in your best interest to go for the rarer chests first. This increases the odds of an Anchor Fog spa♊wning and will cut do🥀wn on the time it takes you to grind.
Not 🌼to mention it’ll serve you better to go for the rarer chest anyways as they tend to spawn better items and the time you can dedicate to hunting is limited as it is. Grab whatever chests you can obviously, but make sure the first ones you look in are the rarest of the bunch.
2 Tackling The Vꦏalkyrie 🐟
Given Area X is also the spawn෴ point of the boss of the labyrinth, the Valkyire Hildr, you want to prepare yourself to take this flying witch down as this makes hunting for Anchor Fogs a lot easier and its necessary anyway.
The general idea is to employ a good defense and having an Ivaldi set of armor ensures you have the time to do this while the mist is eating away at your health. Once you’ve dealt with her you can return to this ar🎶ea repeatedly with little trouble.
1 ꦇ It’s Still Randomized
If you haven’t realized it b🌜y now you should know that finding three Anchor Fogs is going to take a while. They’re the rarest spawn in the Vivaldi realm and the chests they spawn in will also be somewhat rare. Combine this with the fact that it’s difficult for the average player to clear out the labyrinth each time and you’ll spend a couple dozen runs grinding this area out.
It really is worth it in the end and the experience and Mist Echoes you ga𒊎in from each run will more than pay off.
