Mr. Freeze’s Attacks And How To Avoid Them
Mr. Freeze has a variety of dangerous attacks that he uses against you, but as most of his attacks follow a pattern, they are easy to predict o♈nce you get used to them.
If you get too close to him while attempting melee attacks, he will launch a barrage of melee attacks himself, which are uninterruptible and can cause heavy damage.
In addition to the first attack, Mr. Freeze shoots beams from his Cryogun in the initial phase of the battle. Luckily it's pretty easy to avoid.
To dodge the attack, listen out for the charging sound of his gun, and when you hear it, hit dodge, and you'll always avoid the beam.
From time to time, Mr. Freeze launches himself into the air to slam down on you, which, if not dodged on time, does a massive amount of damage. This attack also🧸 forms a circle of frozen spikes around Freeze that wil🍒l damage you if you decide to charge him after the attack.
Even after you dodge the slam, he will shoot rockets into the air that'll come crashing down. Fortunately for you, the area of effect is marked by a honeycomb-like pattern, which makes dodging the attack easy.
Once you deal enough damage, Freeze will enter his next phase where he shoots freezing beams instead of regular beams, which freeze you in place if you get hit by them, he will follow up with punishing melee strikes that will deal a huge amount of damage.
Something to watch out for is the uninterruptible, high-speed devastating beams from the Weather Machine, which begin to shoot once you take away 25 percent of Mr. Freeze's health.
Mr. Freeze Boss Fight Strategies
First and foremost, you should equip any ice-resistant gear you have unlocked in your playthrough. Since Mr. Freeze’s attacks consist of icy bea💟ms, the ice-resistant gear will be vital to defending against those.
The most important thing to remember is to keep your distance and attack him using your momentum abilities once he is locked in a place after performing his attack mov♉e back out of the wa♕y.
Usually, after Mr. Freeze charges his guns for beam attacks or when he uses his traceable rocket attacks, he will be left standing in place for two or three seconds. Your window to attack is short, but you can seize this opportunity to use your momentum abilities to keep chipping away at his health.
Make sure you do not get too close. Otherwise, you will get hit by his armored attacks. Your standard melee attacks will not be of that much help whatsoever. All you need to do is dodge all of his slow attacks and then come crashing down on him using your ranged attacks and momentum abilities.
After Mr. Freeze charges his rockets and Cryogun, he is left vulnerable for a moment. Make use of this opportunity and rain devastation on him to end 🌌the battle.
Follow the above strategy, and you will eventually be able to take Freeze down.
