The news comes from a recent report published by , which features an interview with Gotham Knights creative director Patrick Redding. As well as including information about how you can play th𓃲rough the entirety of Gotham Knights in single-player and details concer🐭ning Gotham Knights' co🌞hesive open world, the interview revealed that yes, you can have two Red ꧑Hoods, or two Nightwings, Batgirls, Robins - you get the picture.

Redding briefly described the way in which characters are actually designed in Gotham Knights, ackꦜnowledging things like build versatility and unique abilities.

"Because the characters arౠe so distinct from each other, there's a bit of asymmetry, a bit of the complimenta🉐ry skill set and ability set that actually makes teaming up kind of awesome if you happen to have different characters," he said.

"Now, if you happen to have two Batgirls, you can also do that," Redding added. "Obviously, the potential of having differ🍌ent Batgirl 🅺builds, and how they look different and play differently is really cool too."

In related news, Gotham Knights does not adhere to a games-as-a-service moꦬdel, despite rumors to the contrary. As a result, you'll be able up to team up with your pals and play the same heroes - or different ones, you don't have to p🐎lay as two Batgirls - without concern for the kind of pay-to-play structures that have become endemic to a variety o𒐪f modern games.

It's worth noting that Gotham Knights isn't the only DC game in the works at the moment. A brand new trailer for Rocksteady💦's Suicide Squad: Kill The 🦋Justice League recently debuted during last week's DC FanDome event - and, unlike 🦂Gotham Knights, ౠit's set in the Arkham universe.
