Betrayals are common in the Grand Theft Auto series, but few happen as fast as Catalina betraying Claude in GTA 3. It happens in the opening cutscene of the gam⛄e, and she becomes the main antagonist from that point forward.

She's clearly a cold woman, as she has no qualms about figuratively stabbing Claude in the back and leaving him for dead despite them being together for nine years. She does it all to further her own criminal career. This is why it's easy to hate her, which makes her an effective villain.

11 Billy Grey (Grand ܫTheft Auto: The Lost And Damned) 🐬

• President of The Lost Motorcycle Club
• Betrays his own club mates

Billy was the one-time President of the Lost Motorcycle Club based out of Liberty City in GTA 4 and its DLC, The Lost and Damned. After a stint♏ in jail, he returned to the head of the table. When Billy steals heroin from a rival gang, the club slowly starts to fall apart.

Billy later betrayed his own cluﷺb mates, Johnny and Jimmy to the Triads. However, the pair of them managed to survive. The result was a civil war between the Lost biker club, and another prison stint for Billy. In ex⛎change for his freedom, Billy agreed to ‘rat’ on his club mates, resulting in Johnny leading an all-out assault on the prison, killing the one-time president.

10 Jimmy Pegorino (Gran🦋d Theft Auto 4) 𒆙

• Looked down upon by the other Liberty City Mafia families
• Paranoid about rats and snitches
• One of the main antagonists of GTA 4 depending on your choices

Jimmy, or James Pegorino, was a mafioso boss based out of Alderny in Grand Theft Auto 4’s Liberty City. Despite being the boss of h൲is own family, the other families looked down on him, and constantly denied him access to their level.

When the law started to catch up to Jimmy, he became somewhat paranoid, accusing his closest frien๊ds and accomplices of ratting him out. He sent Niko to eliminate them, and then he too tried to eliminate Niko. A decision he later regretted. Depending on your choices, Jimmy’s fate and the fate of others change, but the result is always the same. Jimmy dies.

9 🌠 Dimitri Rascalov (Grand Theft Auto 4)

• One of the main antagonists of GTA 4 depending on your choices
• Isn't afraid to betray someone for his own gain
• Initial demeanor serves to hide his true intentions

Grand Theft Auto 4 arguably provides the most compelling main narrative in the series. In fact, it's one of the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:best story-driven games in general. Many characters contಌribute to its greatness, including Dimitri Rascalov🌄.

For the first few hours of knowing him, Rascalov seems like a decent guy and certainly preferable to his friend Mikhail Faustin. But it turns out he's just the more treacherous one as he later betrays Niko. After showing his true colors, it becomes clear that Rascalov has very few positive traits, as he's a cowardly snake. Therefore, it's fun to take him down.

A former Russian wrestler who turned to Liberty City for a life of crime, Ray Bulgarin is a recurring villain in Grand Theft Auto 4, and then the primary antagonist of th📖e DLC, The Ballad of Gay Tony. Niko Bellic once worked for Bulgarin, people trafficking across Europe. After a♑ ship sunk, Bulgarin blamed Niko, and lost a cache of diamonds in the process.

Always wanting more, he tried to purchase his own nightclub, and then the local Liberty City hockey team. But the missing diamonds were his real desire. After trying to reacquire the diamonds, as well as a supply of heroin, Bulgarin mꦿeets his match in Luis Lopez who shoots the man, and escapes Bulgarin’s exploding plane.

7 Sonny Forelli (Grand Theft Auto: Vice Citꦇᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚy)

• Sonny only ever cares about himself.
• Sends Tommy Vercetti to Vice City in part to get him out of the way.

It's not an example of a surprise moral turn for the mobster as Forelli seems like a jerk from pretty much the start of the game. After all, he is greedy, manipulative, and ill-tempered. 6 Devin Weston (Grand Theft Autไo 5)

• A billionaire businessman who isn't afraid to show it.
• Uses people less fortunate than himself to conduct his shady acts of crime.

This guy is a billionaire business executive, and he doesn't hide that fact. In fact, he continually makes references to his wealth and talks down to anyone with less money than him, which is pretty much everyone in Los Santos, including Michael, Franklin, and Trevor. He's a great villain because he's very relatable. Even if you've never met someone as rich as Weston, you'd probably come across people with similar attitudes.

5 🌼 Darko Brevic (Grand Th💟eft Auto 4)

• He betrayed his war comrades for drug money.
• Became disillusioned with war after the loss of his loved ones.

Darko Brevic is perhaps the closest thing the GTA series has to a sympathetic main villain. Yet, he's probably more tragic than sympathetic. After all, this man sold out all his comrades for drug money before the events of GTA 4.

There's a little more to it than that, as he had also become disillusioned with the war after seeing some of his loved ones die. The whole mess made him a broken man. It's a compelling backstory and helps make Darko a captivating villain despite his limited screen time.

4 Lance Vance (Gran♉d Theft Auto: Vice City) ♛

• Exudes style and personality.
• Started his own drug empire with his brother, Victor Vance.
• Turned on Tommy Vercetti after being relegated to his "sidekick."

Lance Vance is one of the first people Tommy Vercetti gets acquainted with in Vice City. He becomes an ally, and an advisor. But greed and desire get the best of him, leading him to 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:turn on Tommy Vercetti.

What elevates Lance above many of the other vill🎐ains on this list is his style and personality. The man exudes both things. Mostly because of the drugs he’s on. His downfall was a need for more. More money, fame, a♚ttention, and power.

3 Big Smoke (G🦩rand Theft Auto: San Andreas) 𒐪

• Turned on his friends and family out of greed.
• Became a major drug lord after the betrayal.

One of the most heartbreaking and surprising betrayals in GTA history is executed by Big Smoke in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Grand Theft Auto San Andreas.
