There are tons of things you can do in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:GreedFall, like learning over 80 skills, playing the game again until you get all the different endings, or romancing your companions. And with over 23 sidequests plus 15 companion's quests, it's easy to get sidetracked.
Nevertheless, if you want to get to the bottom of what exactly is Malichor and how to cure it, you'll have to complete GreedFall's main storyline. By following this path, you'll inevitably have to complete the main quest, "Demoniacal Cult," which will have you investigate a suspected cult in the woods. Here's everything you'll need to do to complete this mission successfully:
How To Start Demoniacal Cult
You'll immediately get this quest after completing another one called "Old Countries in a New World" and reporting back to Constantin. This time around, you'll be tasked with investigating a demon that's said to be the one casting the curse that's causing the Malichor disease, so naturally, you'll have to learn more about the cult that worships this demon to understand how this entity works and why.
Where To Find The Cult's Village
First thing first, you'll have to get to the cult's village in order to know more about them. Luckily, Petrus will mark the location on your map, s🐎o all you have to do is open it and travel there.
- The area you'll be going to it's called "The Black Lands."
Once you reach the area indicated by Petrus, explore a little bit, and you'll inevitably run into Sister Ephesia, a Theleme envoy that's also looking into the village's culty activities. After talking to her, you'll learn that the villagers are aggressive towards her, so she hasn't been able to progress much with her investigation; that's why she'll ask you to speak with the villagers instead.
Going To The Village
Finally, it's time to see this mysterious village for yourself, so after speaking with Ephesia, move forward into the Village of Vedleug. Once inside, you'll notice that what Ephesia said it's true, and the villagers seem to be in some sort of trance, staring deeply into the void as if they were praying or meditating. Nevertheless, what you have to do now is follow the quest marker into the hut where the village "wise man" is.
- Tip: Before going into the village, set up a camp near Sister Ephesia's location and add Siora to your party. She'll come in handy later on in the mission.
Once inside the hut, talk to the man, but you'll see he isn't very cooperative and will want you to leave him and the villagers alone. Since you didn't get any answers here, go to the village's upper floor and follow the quest marker until you find the village chief, Derdre. Talk to her.
This time around, things will be a little different since you'll be given some questions to ask her, like "ask her about their beliefs" or "ask about her clan." Ask whatever you want but keep in mind Derdre will start to be elusive once you ask her two questions.
Seeing that you didn't get much from the village leaders, all you can do now is search the area in hopes of finding someone who is willing to talk to you. Most of them won't want anything to do with you, but you'll eventually find a female villager that is willing to talk as long as you answer her questions, as well.
- Tip: She will only answer two questions as well, so you should ask her whichever ones you didn't ask the chief.
Moving on, near the village entrance, there's another villager who's willing to speak with you, so go ahead and ask him some questions.
After talking to that last guy, go back and tell Sister Ephesia what you've learned. Both of you will agree that that last man you spoke to was kinda sketchy as if he's hiding something, so it'll be up to you to uncover what's going on.
Investigating The Villager's Hut
Go back to the village and try to get into the strange man's hut. You can do this in two ways:
- Break one of the man's pots to create a diversion.
- Speak to the female villager that was willing to talk with you and, if you have Siora in your party, she will convince the woman to help you guys get into the hut.
Whatever you choose to do, once you gain entrance to the man's hut, you'll notice the place is filled with culty things like a morbid altar, a terrifying mask, and a fresco depicting a massacre. There are also some things you can loot, so while you're there, you might as well get yourself some things.
After investigating the place, head out and report back to Sister Ephesia.
Following The Villager
After talking with her, she'll ask you to follow the man to see where he performs his rituals, so go hide and wait until night comes.
From the hiding spot, you'll have to discreetly follow the man without him seeing you, so keep your distance and be careful.
In your path, you'll encounter a group of Vampire Dosantats. These enemies are quite strong and difficult to deal with, 💜so unless you have good enough weapons to deal with them, it's better to use the bushes that are on the right to crouch and hide from them.
- Tip: If you most fight the Vampire Dosantats, use the Stasis skill to paralyze them.
After dealing with the monsters, follow the quest mark till you get to a Strange Sanctuary; however, the villagerꦯ will be nowhere🐭 to be found. Investigate the big tree in the area, and a cut-scene will start.
Solving The Puzzle
You have to open the door that's in the tree in order to keep going. To do so, just activate the stones in a specific order (De Sardet's vision will give you the clues you need to decipher the correct order).
Walk over to the stones, and De Sardet will talk about the drawings in each one, this way, you'll know which element they represent. This is the correct order in which you'll have to interact with the stones:
- Wind Stone
- Lightning Stone
- Fire Stone
- Death Stone
- Water Stone
- Life Stone
Afterward, the sanctuary door will finally open. Head inside and follow the path until another cut scene starts, this time, you'll learn about the mysterious blood rituals the villagers' practice.
After the cut scene is over, you'll find yourself outside the cave. What's left to do is head back to the village, where you'll need to talk to Derdre and confront her about what you just saw. She will try to explain what's going on and tell you that if you want to communicate with this entity they worship, you'll have to head over to a sanctuary and perform the ritual yourself.
After speaking to t⛦he chief, the "Demoniacal Cult" quest will end, and another one called "Face to Face With The Demon" will start.
- Finishing up "Demoniacal Cult" will grant you 1700 XP
