Popular streamer Greekgodx has been banned from Twitch following transphobic commen𝔍ts made during a recent live stream.
Dimitri Antonatos, more commonly known as "Greekgodx", is a British Twitch streamer with al🥂most 900,000 followers. His content covers a variety of forms, including gaming, talk shows, and IRL (in-real-life) streams. During his most recent stream, Greekgodx ra♉nted about popular music streaming platform SoundCloud, calling out the gender options users are given when creating an account.
During his rant, Greekgodx declared SoundCloud was "catering to cucks" for offering "other" and "prefer to not say" gender optio🃏ns to users when creating an account. "'Other'?!" he exclaimed, "F*** off! If you put 'other,' they should say, 'Sorry, SoundCloud is not for you, goodbye. And f***ing delete you, dude.'"

This morning, Greekgodx took to to confirm his Twitch ban was due to his transphobic comments. In the same tweet, he apologized to anyone offended, claiming that his comments were a joke. He promised to update his followers on the length ♉of his ban once he had more information:
Got banned for a silly comment about gender i just wanted to say it was a joke and i'm really sorry to an🐻yone i offended. i didn't mean to be hurtful or hateful. ill update u guys on how long the ban is for when i can.
Twitch's Community Guidelines prohibit "hateful content" on their platform, or any content that "promotes, encourages, or fac😼ilitates discrimination, denigration, objectification, harassment, or violence" based on gender and gender identity. The guidelines clearly state that "Any hateful conduct is considered a zero-tolerance violation" and any reports of such content can lead to suspension. Twitch bans typically last either 24 hours, three days, seven days, or 30 days.

This is not the first time Greekgodx has been in hot water with Twitch. In April 201💖8, his account was suspended after a photoshopped i𝄹mage of another streamer lying nude was displayed on his broadcast.
